I had one YouTube channel that was targeting my local country,

This is how I got rid of targeting my local country, targeting only USA shorts views.

And to be honest, there is no secret thing; only three things you need to do:

  1. Make English content.
  2. Use USA slang for titles.
  3. Be patient.

I am 100% sure that if you spend about 40 days, you're going to target the USA audience.

It really depends on what kind of niche you're in, and yeah, they pay decently, but if you're generating 1 million views, you can earn $100 per day.
 
$100 daily? Bro they're paying $0.06 per 1k views, isn't that right? How can you manage to do that? I'm about to start to create shorts, studied a lot of shorts and improved my editing skills but I have second thought about monetization.

Yeah, but your goal is to generate 1 million views for every video. They added this because TikTok pays $1000 for a million views, but only for USA residents.

I mean, it's still relatively low compared to TikTok's payment rates, but it's a significant improvement from before. Additionally, the niche you select is crucial. Opt for a niche that offers higher payouts.
 
What RPM are you able to get on these videos ? I am assuming it will be high as you have got US views.
