FACT:
It isn't always the person with the most links who ends up first in the
search engine rankings. More and more often it is the person with the
right quality /relevant links for their niche that ends up in the better
position.
FACT:
Here is an exercise: Do a search on your main keywords that you are
targeting. See who ranks in the top ten of the search engine
rankings. Take the time to check out your competitor?s backlinks. It may be
that the person who ranks number 1 has less backlinks than the person in
place number 2,3,4 or even 10. If you really analyze each site's backlinks,
you may start to see that the site that has less backlinks is ranked higher
because of the quality and relevance of those backlinks.

Guys, as we should all know by now: Google isn't stupid. In fact, the
company is becoming smarter and smarter every day. You're playing a cat
and mouse game if you're building your business by trying to outsmart
Google. Do what their terms of service says and think quality not quantity.
Don't take short cuts and do think of your long-term business plan.
All these automated backlink tools are simply garbage. In the end they will hurt
and bring down your sites when you least expect it. Why not build your business
instead of trying to outsmart Google. They will catch up with you sooner or later.
