A friend of mine tested this few weeks back and SYV was using a mobile views script because the requests generated were similar to the mobile. The views were more like "TV HTML5".

Does what? If you are referring to the link in the OP, then no. It just sents requests to the YouTube video data server and gets info like, length of the video etc.
