Summer in Europe is hell

Bro it is absolutely pissing it down out there. If the temp in the UK get's above 20C I take it as a gift from god. AC is for pussies and people in warmer climates.

There is always an option to work from home, preferably from vacation cottage with outside shower/deep shade. I don't know where y'all from, but that is kind of standardised here in some of EU countries.

30 to 40 is hell? in india 40 is normal temperature.

I am from Poland too... today, especially morning was terrible...

Apparently it was 50c or 120F in Las Vegas yesterday. It broke an all time high by a few degrees. Glad I'm not there!

Meanwhile here in India in summer it was lie 50 C

Wish you were in India at summers.. This is very common in here.

You should come to India and live in Rajasthan in India for a 1 week, You will surely forgot Europe :D

Yeah, but most countries in Europe don’t even have a single proper air con between them lol. On the other hand, I can’t remember going anywhere in India where you essentially weren’t hopping to and from fully kitted air-conditioned homes to air conditioned cars to air conditioned shops. Hardly a like for like comparison.

You mean most western Europe?
Rest of us here are enjoying the summer

I recently read some news that England declared a heatwave when the temperatures touched 26 C and cracked up so hard.

How you even live without air conditioner?
I have both, air conditioner set to 18C and huge 140W fan in second room.

30-40C days in Europe are normal.

This is some previous years graphics, but I just like colors xD

Okay, so you have comparable or hotter summer than I do in Sri Lanka + crazy prices?

Read some articles about dangerous heat in Greece, tourists complaining

I'm also living in Germany but I think it's funny how europeans shit on people in Dubai and say it's too hot over there while people in Dubai etc. have air conditioners everywhere, even in malls and all kinds of houses.

bro somefay come to India Delhi or Banglore the heat is so much that banglore is now toh having water shortage

The World is Crazy I Can't get out of the house... Its like being in an OVEN!!!

It’s not funny really. Usually it’s to alert the most vulnerable members of society - old people, people with specific illnesses, people working outdoors all day etc both in itself for the sake of their wellbeing, but also to try to prevent absolute havoc at A&E due to heat stroke and other weather related pandemonium because the people here generally aren’t used to it and the infrastructure including buildings; cavity wall insulation, triple glazing, scarce air conditioning etc aren’t designed to prepare for it. Much the same way places like India and Sri Lanka aren’t designed to prepare for flash floods so people are walking around knee deep or even swimming in their own shit every time it does happen.
