I am taking one for the team boys
I have been limited a few times with PayPal but this one is unacceptable. I have violated AUP Previously possibly by being underage when I was under 18 but just made this one almost a year ago (when I was over 18)and was limited AGAIN. I mean who didn't see it coming? I only had $1600 in PayPal but I am sick of them taking money and making me wait 180 days with no reason why. I contacted them about how I can get this information and they told me I have to file a subpoena which means I have to take them up in small claims court.
My main goals for this project are to see why they limited me with legal attorneys and to try to recoup my $1600 from PayPal. If I am able to get monetary compensation then that is a bonus. But this will make sure that that they don't try to run away with my money since it will be attached to a legal proceeding
Day 1:
Sent my demand for payment to PayPal which I know they will refuse so then I can start my small claims court lawsuit.
Also if anyone wants to do their claim, you have to live in US as it would make it much simpler since I don't know international laws on lawsuits and subpoenas. just fill out a letter as I did and mail it to them at the address in the header. Then include as much information about your dispute and the monetary amount you would like to claim back. In most/all states there is a small claims court limit which GayPal makes you sue in small claims court. You can find that here https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/small-claims-suits-how-much-30031.html
You will just have to do this so you can then file a small claims court lawsuit and subpoena them for the exact information of WHY you were limited.
Info in Demand Letter (DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A LAWYER AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU REFERENCE THIS POST FOR LEGAL ADVICE)
