Suggestions on a program?

Does anyone know of a program that I can edit videos and make them into a compilation with myself making a review about them. Should I just start using adobe? And I noticed my first thread got deleted why is this?

With Adobe or Sony Vegas you can get a free 30 day trial at their website. Vegas has a pretty good interactive tutorial up at the toolbar in the Help section.
