Suggestion required for learning course

Dear mate I have experience in in digital marketing. One of my frnd said to learn data science with phyton, r, Ai, Machine learning to have a career growth.

What do you guys think

Learn things if you see any reasons for learning them or you have a real passion for them. Machine or deep learning are cool and interesting concepts, but where you will apply them?
If having a good salary is your goal, may be this path is for you.
If you're willing to be independent entrepreneur, may be not the best use of your time.

Python and advanced concept has more advantage . go for it.
