Suddenly I got 190k backlinks

HI all,

Today morning when I checked GSC i got 190k backlinks from a website. I remember putting a comment on a post and that comment appeared in the sidebar. So for each page Google Crawler has crawled, I got a backlink.

I know it will reduce with time but as of now, IS IT HARMFUL IN ANYWAY??

PS - No Manual action as of now.

Usually, no action needed. If possible contact that webmaster ask him to deleted that comments. Observe your site rankings and traffic if you see any down just disallow it. Effects are not same for all the website you only can understand how those links are effecting your site.

I hope you read that "HE" was the one who made the comment?
Personally, I don't send comment links directly to my website.

Disavow the links, probably negative SEO.
And who will want that many shit quality links to begin with?

I've gotten a few hundred overnight and a month or two later lost them. Did that repeatedly. Pretty sure that caused too much volatility in google's eyes and hurt my ability to increase my ranking.

The domain was already on my disavowed domain list that I uploaded on 19th June but google still fetched them.

Good but different people having different perspective but what ever me and others say are just assumptions "may or may not happen". Like said it is all observation. The best idea is contact webmaster and ask him to remove it. I usually do that to remove spammy links. This way my spam score and da wont effect much along with the ranking issues in Google.
