It could be a massive indexing issue or algorithmic penalty. Try to edit a post, add some text (25% more of the original), change the title to trick the algo into thinking that the post has changed. Geez, no way I will play with this crap and edit every single post which I have a lot on my sites. I just want my posts to be indexed normally :confused:

I said do a test with ONE post before editing the whole website, it'll give you a clue what the problem is all about.

No problem. I wrote my reply as a suggestion because I see people doing the same thing over and over again that gets them nowhere. In order to figure out how things work with google algo you need to change things around.
 
okay im starting to think now everything has changed and we can't found the reason how to get index properly.. :confused:
 
My websites (without any indexed services) seems started to recover, from 0 visitors yesterday around 180, will check the next days and hope recover all visitors from Google. Other websites sent to indexer services are recovered partial traffic.
 
It also happend with me few days back but it got fixed after i found the problem.
there could be many issues like
Manual search engine penalty
On page violation
Off page violation
Algorithm update
Lost links
 
I've ranked in the top 3 for a 4k a month keyword for over a year. I'll use the example of the keyword "widget".

A few days ago I dropped to #97 for the plural of the word (widgets). But I'm still ranking for "widget".

This makes absolutely no sense and is another reason to make me think there is no cause other than Google being a pile of crap since the update. It's either still catching up after the update or has serious bugs that I hope they are fixing.

Fingers crossed for a rollback

what did you do to the recovered web (that without indexing service) ?

I checked mine that I didn't submit is still loosing index, specially images.

btw, does the index still there for the website that use indexing service?

Did nothing, in the last two days kws appear and disappear, today are stable. Hope the recover are started.

oh I really hope so! let's see by the end of January. Hope start in February everything will be back to normal
 
I have also noticed slight improvement in traffic even on sites that I didn't recover via bulkaddurl. The fun fact is that it seems that "site:" command is kinda bugged, because it doesn't see all pages that are indexed when I'm using it like "site:"domain". When I'm using site: command for a URL of specific page, then it sees it. Weird stuff indeed.

Same for me. Something is moving right. What about the websites that you send in bulkadd? Stable for me..

I've noticed the same. When I was using site:mysite.com I would see all my URLs listed. If I then try it again it would show a fraction of the amount and then again go back to showing all.
Today though is a huge improvement and as far as I can see, all my pages are back to normal and for some, I've had a SERPS rise.
 
Does anybody have sites for Eastern Europe or Central Asia, who see recovery today?

I have indexed 2 sites with bulkadd, pages stay indexed and a few new pages become indexed day by day. But positions are very low. First day by bulkadd l had much boost in trafic, but only for one day. Second day - pages indexed, but ranked very low.

I think it starting to fluctuate, they surely changed something, because people see movement up and down. We need to wait and see.
