Sudden Ranked Drop? Google Algo Update?

I think the problem is definitely with the featured snippets. Google tried to make an update for them and crushed the whole concept. That's why some of the kws are still up. I got hit mostly for the kws which were in the featured snippet. Anyone can confirm this?

Negative. I didn't have any KW in the featured snippets (at least noone that I'd be aware of).

Coincidence. I have many sites not linked to the GWT and they also got hit. :/

i think that's not the problem..i think this update is about how google bot see our pages especially how we mark up our pages, the way they made blogpost, gave warning in search is console a little late ,even tweeting regarding snippet is some kind of hint for us..from 6 friend of mine who used mark up data-vocabulary.org/Review all of them got hit , what i meant is, the end result of the page ..so what happen is user manage to reindex the page (using bulkaddurl?) but since perhaps the bot still see the criteria which trigger the "penalty" still exist our pages went back to the last pages in serp

have a look at this thread xenforo.com/community/threads/google-spammy-structured-markup-data-vocabulary-dead-since-2011.155473/ tell me what do you think?

And what about schema.org? I have schema.org and not data-vocabulary.

Again, this is definitely NOT a data-vocab issue. I have more sites using data-vocab that went UP than sites using them that went down.

And what about schema.org? I have schema.org and not data-vocabulary.

what i mean is ..its not schema, vocab or Json LD they all are just language..but how we markup our pages because that is the end result of the pages which google bot see..even if the content is Class A+ , in ealier algo YMYL is also similar (schema review)

So, tried to wrote new post in my website and send to Google with Inspection Tool, Google visit the page instantly, but since two hours the url is not indexed (usually it takes few minutes). So, google scan our websites but something is not correct or wrong, that's what I think.

BTW about this:
https://www.seroundtable.com/google-search-algorithm-ranking-update-28889.html

My kws are up and down, this morning I had many kws in first position, I checked now and is again at 90+.
incomprehensible
Same for me but try to search in incognito mode several times, close the browser, open it etc... sometimes your website will be there, I think it's about the data center you search on, it takes time to be on all the datacenters

Hmm.. its like looking for the missing puzzle, but the puzzle is hidden :|

its not about schema/data-vocabulary.. so what else?

Ok, no spam in index anymore. But!
Why 2 the same spam sites in 1 GWT account, one affected, 1 none?
Why affected totaly whitehat sites?
Why it did in such weird way, with big data anomalies in GWT?
Why not in usual way through manual actions?

Here is how the graph looks like just if someone needs to compare something. I really don't get it. Still trying to see if there is something that cause this. View attachment 126824
mine is weird as well. Since the Google update my impressions in GSC have gone up almost 10x it is however showing zero clicks. When I check analytics it is showing organic clicks to my website and a CTR of approx 4%. Adsense is however showing no-one is clicking on ads at all. I know they are different data sets but in summary my impressions have increased, I am getting organic clicks to my website which I can see in real time but zero revenue as a result. I don't mind about zero revenue i get such little traffic it doesn't make a difference to anything but none of the data sets align or make sense.

The only change I have made is that I have found time to post more frequently. My content is being indexed within about 10 - 20 minutes and I then get organic traffic for it but nothing sticks.

Why not in usual way through manual actions?

They(G) said some time ago that they want to shift as many penalties as possible to an algorithm. This is beneficial to google on many levels, they don't have to pay people to do the work and more importantly, it leaves people clueless what hit their website so they can't manipulate search results further.

I'm using Google XML Sitemap and GSC still reads the sitemap
same here but when I run site:xxxx.com during the day i either get 290 results or 570 as a response. My news stuff is being indexed in minutes, I then get a couple of clicks on it via organic traffic and then nothing until I post some more items.

No cloudfront here.

Who added the page in search console as "Domain-Property?" (automatic include https/http/ ... and all subdomains?)
I did that and everything is indexed fine. Google are showing in GSC a large increase in impressions but zero clicks. However I can see the organic clicks in real time on analytics even though GSC says I am now getting zero clicks

On all sites that I recovered via bulkaddurl I lose indexed pages day by day. Unbelievable.

Like I said in my previous post, a website/post will show up after initial indexing, if it disappears later on it means another algo took over and removed it from the index. It could be a massive indexing issue or algorithmic penalty. Try to edit a post, add some text (25% more of the original), change the title to trick the algo into thinking that the post has changed. Reindex it again and see if it sticks around. Don't use your keywords in the edited part. Do a test with one post before making changes to the whole website. Keep a copy of the original post because if it doesn't work you can revert back.
