Sudden Ranked Drop? Google Algo Update?

I'll tell you my case with one of my websites.
Before this last update, I had already noticed that I was losing some keywords in my main article. When I copied parts of my article and searched for them in Google my website was not there, and instead there were other spam websites.
Even so, I was still ranking for my main keyword. Yesterday, I saw that my main keyword was not there and when I checked the serps I found that the main article had been desindexed, and along with it, the other 3 most important articles of my website. I don't know whether to wait, change the text, make a 301 or give my website away.
All my web had 100% original content, no 301, and good backlinks. I cannot understand what Google is doing from the past month.
The only thing is that my website was structured to rank a single post (8 or 9 main keywords). The rest of the posts complemented the main one with internal links.
The websites that are now on top are multiniches, and not focused on that particular keyword.

I can back this up, this is happening to at least one of my sites (didn't have time to check the others yet) as well. Articles are de-indexed/vanished from Google while ranking in top 3.
Started yesterday (~16 hours ago) for me.
Just when you think things can't get even worse, Google manages to do that.
EDIT: Just checked another site that was "hit" by the December 16-18th update and about half of those pages are de-indexed as well.
Also there are some weird pages like https://domain.com/wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js?ver=4.7.6 are indexed now, those were never indexed before.
This clearly indicates to me that something is messed up quite big.

Same here since Dec 24. Site was rising pretty well in SERPS and suddenly tanked. Completely whitehat site (aged domain 3+ years old that was online without me putting much content on it due to lack of time and just started properly adding more content in autumn 2019) with long and well written content that cites sources etc, not many backlinks but the ones that are there are legit ones. Even for low competition keywords where I am the only one having a long ass well researched article some other random sites which just mention this keyword rank and i am nowhere to be seen.
Also, indexing articles is much harder, I can't get the latest article from yesterday indexed at all - anyone having the same problem? (Usually it happens within a few minutes when submitting via search console)

yep, now it looks like they ignore such requests from GSC at all.

i added 5 new articles yesterday, updated map in GSC, just checked now - no one has been indexed yet

Exactly the same here! On Google.de. Looks like Google fucked up. I dont think they messed up their serps like this on purpose. I mean for some terms pure bullshit/spam is ranking.

yikes.. more like beating a dead dog.. It's like google torturing my sites over and over again... old sites dipped even lower, new sites showing signs of deranking..

Most of my pages were also deindexed for a month and a half.
Today some of them came alive again to previous position. I didn't update content in between, I left these pages alone. However I did publish new content.
Will see if all will come back.
Have never seen that weird Google dancing.
