Yes its all over the place. I should'nt worry too much about it.. my competion has the same shit happening.. Google is just testing a lot of shit i think.. think we just need to keep on working on our sites and dont focus too much on update shit.. cant control it anyway
He mean that not added sitemap_index.xml but one by one all sitemap inside. I also did this because with the sitemap_index.xml I got 0 url :/

Lol strange.
I get 18 URLs with sitemap_index.xml
41 with post-sitemap.xml
9 for category
and 9 for page
...... really strange !
Sitemap is generated by Rankmath on my site
check the index and cache, is it still there ?
if they does, it means that google just shufflin' and dancin'

I just created a new site, and did the sitemap submission, its discovered, and did the inspect tools.
usually the page got indexed within 20 mins, but now... NONE :|
Don't confuse Ikea problem with yours. Ikea doesn't have an indexing/deindexing issue, they have an issue with google serving the wrong language version in Germany for a specific keyword. They call it 'a huge indexing problem' but it's not like Ikea pages are being removed from google index.
The algo is telling you something, but you don't listen.
Some of my pages are 404'd in the cached pages. What does this mean?
When trying to get around paywall pages to view some articles in the last week I have noticed more major sites with cache version 404s. I don't know if it's linked though.

The problem is that a lot of people here are so set on indexation and not open to other ideas. Plenty of suggestions here to explore other possibilities. I'm pretty sure that's not what you want to hear but that's what it is.

Do you want an example? I have one website that got hit really hard with Fred update (2017), I did nothing since 2017 and in January update 2020 this website increased a lot. So, what I have to listen in this case?

If there's only 5-10 guys here having problems with indexation then yeah probably we did something wrong. but have you read all the forums out there?

One of my old site that is so outdated increased drastically as well. as for my current sites they keep going down down down
