Sudden Facebook fan reach drop...

It happened to me yesterday. In the morning everything was fine and then a huge drop.
I'm doing my best to post only quality pictures.

I have 10K+ fans on my fanpage and usually i get about 2000/3000 people reach on pics, if the pic is really good then 6K/7K.
I was getting about 300 likes per pic and about 30 shares depending on the reach, but last 15 hours it's really frustrating.


Does anybody have idea why and how to bring it back?

Have you checked your page over all reach?

Do check if your page has been un-published.

Someone also complained about this yesterday, maybe facebook is cracking down on pages sharing semi nude pics
 
Maybe you stopped to paying boost post or ads. I think the reach is bigger if you are advertising your page in some way. I have some pages with 10k and normal reach is around 4-5% per pic. Mr.?trudla, be free to PM!
 
Facebook wants more money from you mate :) But on a serious note I have been noticing this issues lately as well!

It's not unpublished.
But what I did was posting one pic with 2 female fashion models (one was in bikini) asking to like or share and it looks like that's the reason:
That post had reached about 2500 fans, but all posts after that one reached only 400-500 fans... Can't believe this caused such a huge drop...unbelievable.

Any idea how to fix it?

Wait because sometimes FB do this things with reach. Tomorrow will be better!
 
Facebook is loosing popularity in the US. The trend down is huge (almost 2 times less popular than on its peak), so they implement changes to cash out as much as possible before it dies.

Yeah thats true man. Not ly in US. Same problem in everywhere.
 
I read it somewhere, Facebook is being strict on pages. Whatever be the number of fans in fanpage, posts wont be shown to all the fans unless you boost the post - Means FB wants you to spend money.
They have recently revised their policy, check there, there might be some clue.
 
Perhaps that post with the bikini may be the problem as the posts dropped soon after that. Boost your posts up a bit, and don't post anything like that again and you should be fine.
 
That sucks man. Hope you are able to get your reach back to normal soon.
 
Facebook is throttling organic reach so you have to buy boosts.

You have some sort of weekly or monthly "balance" you can spend. If you post just one post, it'll have a bigger reach than if you post 4 or 5.

Well, this is first time I hear about that kind of "balance"...
anyway, the reach today got bigger, about 10% but that's still 3x lower than before. I hope everything will come back to normal very soon.
