Sudden drop of sales.

These can be natural fluctuations. Eventual you will probably have a large increase as well.
Nop, because then traffic and hops would decrease, too, but they have only increased because I had worked on getting more traffic.

What pisses me off is they never seem to have a problem processing the refunds lol

This has to do with economy right? Low income = less profit for us.

There is a 2 page thread about this on Warrior, not sure if this is the problem but looks like it might be. Apparently some affiliate ID's are not showing up at the bottom of their pages so they are not getting credit for any sales etc. I know mine have not been showing up. Clickbank have said they are aware of the problem.

I hope this link helps you guys. i have emailed clickbank this morning and waiting for a response.
Change the ** back into tt. Change w3 to www and change c0m back to com.

Hi Guys, not sure if anyone is interested in my reply from clickbank but thought i would post it anyway. They didn't actually mention anything about the problems they have been having, not sure why as they have admitted it before. Their response anyway was:
Code:
Hello,

Please double check your hoplinks to ensure they are in the proper format.

The affiliate hoplink must be set up in the following format to track commissions properly:

http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net

"AFFILIATE" must be replaced with the affiliate's ClickBank nickname and "PUBLISHER" with the publisher's ClickBank nickname.

You can verify that your links are set up correctly by following the steps outlined below:

1. Enter your hoplink into a new browser window.

2. Click on one of the publisher's ClickBank order buttons.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the ClickBank payment window. You should see your account nickname listed as the affiliate.

This proves that your link is set up correctly and ensures your account will be credited with any commissions earned by referring paying customers to this publisher.

For further information on how hoplinks work, please see the following: http://www.clickbank.com/hoplink_faq.html

EXACTLY my situation too. I even setup Prosper*202 and tracked incoming and outgoing IP addresses to my site. I also track the timestamp of the outgoing click (affiliate link) to the merchant thank you page's timestamp and it is all within 1 or 2 minutes. All from the same fuckin IP! Prosper*202 and Google Analytics both show conversions, yet CB shows jack shit.

So someone tell me how the fuck that person can click on my affiliate link, go to the merchant's page, then bounce, click on another affiliate's link, and buy the product all within 1 or 2 minutes?

I passed Clickbank the IP addresses of my confirmed purchases, and asked them to determine whether an affiliate ID is attached to any one of them. I haven't gotten a response yet. If I see the same affiliate ID on all of them, I'm gonna smoke that fucker. If I see no affiliate link, I'm going to the merchant and asking what the fuck. IP addresses, timestamps, and tracking pixels don't lie, so something doesn't add up.

I'll help you smoke that fucker!! Cuz if that's the case it ain't just your commissions he's been stealing!!

Well...Most people also worried that they MIGHT lost their job...due to retrenchment or the company might closed down suddenly...

People are just panic...it is naturall...and therefore...must save more money for the future..just in case there is NO more income coming in...

Budget is the word..

For SURE...economic downturn now affects many people...and we cant stop it..The only way is to UPGRADE ourselves with more skills and look for other money making opportunties...

Just my 1 Cents here...:o

I think that the fucks at Clickbank are shafting us personally. I get sales every day..And i mean every day. Then 4 days nothing. I write to complain and next day sales start coming in.

Be honest, if you were Clickbank why not take the commission yourself every now and again??

I dont think they are actually taking peoples commisions just not being able to take peoples payments that want to purchase

I see the same problem for over a month now.
For the last year i have the same traffic and about 20 sales a month.
in the last month or so i have 4 sales a month, although traffic just goes up.
I thought it's the economy, but now I see the problem is in clickbank.
I don't like their service for a long time, but they have the best UI (at least it's the easiest for me)
I used to get their sh#t because of the UI, but now i think it's too much.
Is their any other affiliate broker with a similer UI?
I tried CJ but it's not as easy to find good products...

That's the reason I took a break from promoting Clickank. I was getting frequent weekly sales, then for the last three months I haven't seen a single sale though the traffic has not died down. I had to just turn my attention to other things.

same ere although at first i was getting normal sales etc. then it went very very quiet when clickbank changed a few things. then i went to other products. tested one and im still getting sales from that to this day. but i also think sometimes us affiliates are not getting the commissions we should be getting..

I am in the same boat as everyone else who has commented on the problem with Clickbank.

My sales has completely plummet yet my very targeted traffic has almost doubled.

I'm not sure if someone is cleverly stealing my sales or Clickbank is not properly registering the affiliate sales.

QUESTION:

Is there a more reliable alternative to Clickbank such as Paydotcom?

After reading this thread I looked at my CB redirect page for a 5 day period from November 8-13th. This is my page that jumps right to the CB checkout. These were the stats:

* 398
Pageviews

* 358
Unique Views

* $0.00
$ Index

You tell me. 358 people clicked the buy button and not one of them converted?

John

So how many hops did your Clickbank's states says you got?

I am very concerned about the issue with Clickbank and our affiliate hoplinks.

I am going to set up brand new accounts with new hoplinks and see if this resolves the problem.
