I work with Clickbank and thought maybe you experience something like this, too. In weeks before I had more or less regular sales and even had 5 days straight with at least one sale each day, but now for last 6 days there have been NO SALES at all! Altough the traffic to my sales pages/sites has been increasing. What could be wrong? There weren't any drastic changes in sites for sales to drop this steadily. I mean. I am getting around maybe 1000 uniques a week for my all sites combined and usually have sales but not this week. BTW how do I get more serp traffic to my sites? I've worked on backlinks but still most traffic comes from direct promotion on yahoo answers or forums which I need to do each day.

Thanks for tips!

I've noticed a slight decrease in sales with some of my campaigns. I'm guessing that it could be due to the economic slump that we are experiencing.

However, certain Clickbank products are doing just fine especially the health related products.

its inevitable, even my online store experienced decrease in sales

my BF's adult site also, lesser subscribers

order refund and cancellation here and there

lets stay positive, im pretty sure by next year it will return back to normal

Yeah, its pretty hard right now, but I guess that if we can manage to struggle or even get good income in these hard times, then it will be a very good feeling when economy improves and we get big spike in sales. BTW - Snowwhite, you are pretty sure next year will be better, but what makes you think so? Change of president? Because from what I've heard, in my country the economical crysis is no where near end. Of course my country people would never buy from my sites, I need good economy for english speaking countries he he

im actually not sure, I just want to practice positivity. Law of attraction. Im hoping and positive that by next year, economy will somewhat recover. Obama being the new president wont really help that much with regards to the plummeting economy, but the people will.

Clickbank are experiencing massive payment processing problems, i get customers emailing every day saying 'we are unable to process your order' and its just getting worse, then you get a flurry of sales within like 2 minutes and then it goes dead again for 6 hours. They really need to get there act together or affiliates will drop like flies.

Indeed. This has been discussed all over the place, so it's not just us. CB has some serious tracking / payment processor issues that have yet to be fully revealed. Even Harvey Segal's forum (biggest CB cheer leading forum ever) has a "darkout" on discussing it.

If they don't get that shit fixed soon, many merchants will have found new merchant and affiliate management programs.

I also started reading it and it really seems so. That sucks so much because I just started getting good sales and that felt so nice and now BAM! Anyway, maybe someone could recommend similar affiliate sites to clickbank? There's is CJ but it's too professional and hard for me. Need some good CB alternative, maybe I could even substitute my existing CB products with new ones.

My Google tracking tells me 2 sales were made(I had my tracking placed on the thank you page) but in my CB account I had 0 sales. I use to make $2000-$3000 a day with CB and as of today I make $30 a day if I am lucky. CB can go fuck themselves.

from 2000-3000 a day to $30???

haha... something must be really wrong

EXACTLY my situation too. I even setup Prosper*202 and tracked incoming and outgoing IP addresses to my site. I also track the timestamp of the outgoing click (affiliate link) to the merchant thank you page's timestamp and it is all within 1 or 2 minutes. All from the same fuckin IP! Prosper*202 and Google Analytics both show conversions, yet CB shows jack shit.

So someone tell me how the fuck that person can click on my affiliate link, go to the merchant's page, then bounce, click on another affiliate's link, and buy the product all within 1 or 2 minutes?

I passed Clickbank the IP addresses of my confirmed purchases, and asked them to determine whether an affiliate ID is attached to any one of them. I haven't gotten a response yet. If I see the same affiliate ID on all of them, I'm gonna smoke that fucker. If I see no affiliate link, I'm going to the merchant and asking what the fuck. IP addresses, timestamps, and tracking pixels don't lie, so something doesn't add up.

There is a thing out there called Adware-- think Zango style apps-- that people have downloaded... Now when they go to make a purchase-- they are getting cookied by pop-up virus-- This is one explanation of the two hundred I could come up with-- As a person that has dumped 1k now into clickbank promoting exclusively with adwords and making little profit-- I have come to conclusion that clickbank is dead-- except for the select view using these darkworld tactics-- and anyone claiming to be making a killing with clickbank are just living in a fairytale land- far far far away from planet reality. Maybe it makes them feel good saying they have made enormous sums of money. But their clickbank accounts tell a different story--

My conclusion-- Numbers don't Lie-- It's the people reporting the numbers you have to be weary of!

Ok, so the question is - is there a substitute for CB and does anyone know one?

Id like know too :) just found great niche with lots of cheap clicks and the product sales page is nice too ,using direct linking atm since i would not rather buy domain just for it incase it flops.

Im hoping clickbank would fix their broplems soon :)

I already registered at click2sell.eu, it's terms are much more suitable for me as it pays paypal and is a EU company, however lack of products is a big - and I can not find products that would replace the ones I already have at CB.

Meh hops & sales decreasing. Seems like there has been a few problems over the last few weeks, I thought a pretty big company like CB would be prepared for anything, gonna have to find a short-term alternative. I've noticed that any of the sales I have made have been paypal sales, where as a few weeks ago it was all card transactions for a number of weeks, now it's all paypal, strange or co-incidence? :p

Ya I've seen a huge cut in my online sales. Been staying up 20 hours a day trying to figure something out. My car payment is behind and the other day they put a 5 day eviction notice on my door, so I to am feeling the sting of all this. The country has been in financial disaster for a long time, but.. I knew when they started coming out on tv saying "we are broke" that all the sheeple would stop buying, and sure enough they did.

If anyone has some solid ideas on how to earn some money, please share. I tried ewhoring last night for cam sites. Got a lot of guys poppn in at me on chat forums.. oh I feel so dirty, what a bad slut I am. talked to about 15 or so guys but no sales. Really like to figure out a way to market those live cams without talking and feeling like a dirty whore. But since CL has their duche bad panties in a wad not sure if I could still use them to my advantage.

Any ideas?

That's why I stop spending money on Clickbank and just let my organic websites give me sales every once in awhile. I've been saying this for a long time, for years CB system is fucked up and every time they have an 'update' it just gets worse.

They're doing better right now... but look out the moment they update their system again... we'll again have lower sales.. Bah..

I moved to real affiliate marketplaces since.

Kingbrend, what other affiliate marketplaces do you recommend?

These can be natural fluctuations. Eventual you will probably have a large increase as well.
