One of my videos is being pushed a bit more right now (500 views per 48h), but only from browse features-driven impressions. Paradoxically it is the video with the worst stats (lowest CTR & one of the lowest retention rates channel-wide). This is impacting my channel overall stats performance, so I don't understand why YT has picked exactly THIS video to push and not some of the content with decent stats (CTR 10-14%, Retention 35-40% for 7-10 minutes video length). YT's algo acts like a gambler sometimes, seriously. I don't see any sense in pushing a channel's worst performing video, but this is exactly happening right now to one of my videos.

Good to see some progress, but on the other hand I am aware, that views from browse feature tend to be spikey; in this case they will drop sooner or later, I suppose. It's impressions from suggested videos we all need and we are all interested in, because they can bring you constant growth in views over a long period of time, without being too spikey. You will not get any of your videos to go viral without impressions from suggested videos.

Views from suggested videos on my channel, though, are still all dead.

I keep uploading consistently, at least for this month. And I have changed my upload schedule from 4-5 uploads per week to 7 per week (daily). I believe, consistent, daily uploading (with no gaps at all) can have a massive impact on your channel authority and help get any thresholds/caps/shadowbans removed from your channel a lot faster. But it's challenging to keep up the pace, especially when you see little to no progress in the first days, weeks.

Views seem to do better now all of a sudden. I am currently doing final touches on my new video and I am excited to see how it goes.

Videos DESPITE having solid CTR and 84% retention is not getting pushed. I will upload 2-3 more videos the next 1-2 weeks and if nothing is going to change I will stop uploading because I do not have the patience for this absolute crap. It’s pathetic and a complete waste of time. I would understand if my videos get crap retention or pisslow CTR but this should not happen to anyone if the videos do fine, absolutely ridiculous. I’ve had videos with 4% CTR and not even 50% retention that got pushed hard but apparently having good stats is bad according to this bullshit algorithm.

i made a new channel just last weak and i have only uploaded 5 videos.... and i think it's going pretty well... but i don't know why the algo is not continuing the push!.

this is my best video stats:

see when the algo saw that people are clicking and watching from search... it gave big push... but i'm wondering why it didn't keep going STRAIT UP!!! hahaha.

this is the impressions and stuff...

do you think the algo stabilizes for sometime and then push again?

The moment the line went up straight, that mean it's pushing, keep posting, you need a lot of video like that for it to work

dont forget the community post for external if you cant afford with reddit

Reddit upvote, there's ton of uploading per hour so you need to oustanding them, which mean buy upvote, well i already gave up on reddit when they keep removing my post because spamming after like 10-15 posts total ( no comments, only posts ). So you're better to buy a lot of reddit upvote before reaching that threshold, or you can keep commenting to keep the ratio between post and comment

the second push! hope it goes way further up... the niche i'm in can get max of 4 million views per video. so the niche has potential....
EDIT: i just want to add that i didn't share the video in any external social media.... all of this is only youtube... if people are clicking and watching 60-80 precent of the video and 10% and above CTR then the algo keeps pushing...

Update: My newest video which I posted 4 days ago suddenly gets a few suggested views WHICH I didn't get ANY in the past 20 days. Might be a sign that the threshold is finally refilled. I will post a new video tomorrow and let yall guys know.

How about promoting content on Telegram? Will they count as "external" or will YT flag any view, that came from TG as spam or fake views? I've seen so many niche-relevant groups on TG I could use to promote my videos.

Hard to find subreds to promote content from my niche. Community rules are so damn restrictive in most cases, "dont post this", "dont post that", "no links", "you need XX karma to post", bla bla bla....
Self-promotion has become hard on Reddit, even if you provide value in your post, people know when you're trying to do some free promo
