Sudden Drop In Rank After PBN Link.

We've been using proranktracker.com for years, is solid as a rock. In saying that, check the rankings manually. If they have dropped, its probably a dance. If you own the PBN site, you could create a second GWT account, load the PBN domain in there and see if a penalty shows up. Though generally its good to keep your PBN's out of GWT.

You should wait a few more days and see!
 
If you're digging around in Google Search Console make sure you have all versions of your domain verified (ie http, https, www, non-www). Then set the preferred version of your URL (ie if you site uses www, set that as the preferred version). Check that GSC property to get the most accurate info in regard to Links to Your Site, Search Analytics, and etc.

Looks like it was a dance, the site went up a few notches is ranked 13th now.

One thing to note as well is that my keyword tracker (serpbook) was not very accurate. It actually dropped to the fifth when the link was placed.

For those wondering, all my PBNS have their own hosts with unique content, unique plugins, and its very own theme. Anchors are also diversified as well. That said, I havent decided on whether or not I should block crawlers.
 
I see you already got the answer now, but I was gonna say yea most likely dancing.
 
Now you should be happy, OP. About blocking crawlers, you should do that if you don't like your competition spying on you, or don't want Google to trace you. But then again, it's BLACKHAT, so you might as well leave it as is, given all of the sites on PBN are unique in themselves and you left no footprints whatsoever.
 
Definitely not a penalty here because of your PBN link.

If it was a penalty because of that one or two links, .... using that technique for negative SEO would be extremely lucrative. Unfortunately that is not the case :)

It's gonna jump back. Just give it some time - especially if your site doesn't have many decent links, this is gonna happen.
 
Check with the backlink profile of your site and disavow the links with the high spam score because this may hurt your site.And it may be a google dance wait for a while to get results.
