Thank you so much Black Hat World members. Thanks to all of you and your support, I can now say my business is official. Today I signed a client who owns several Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin dealerships for marketing of his places pages and general IM. I also have a meeting on Wed. with two more businesses, a Nissan dealer and a club in downtown. The fact that I can now work around my dream cars and make a killing doing it is seriously the best feeling ever. I'm dropping off a report to the Ferrari dealer on Thursday and will be receiving my first check on the 30th.

The best part? I only grew the balls and gained the confidence to begin cold calling last week. I knew what to do but just couldn't gain the nerve to interact with the business owners. Within one week, I have gone from an income of just over $2300 to over $10,000 /month. This experience has been life changing and I can't help but think, "if I can do this much in one week, Imagine what I can do in 6 months".

Again, thank you so much!

I'll update this thread with pictures of the cars as things develop :)

A few tips I learned along the way:

- Be nice and professional
- Be confident
- Be a friend first and a salesman later
- Know what you're selling and make it your own.

Congrats! Good luck at the Nissan dealership. Maybe you'll get a discount on a Ferrari if you do well eh?

Awesome achievement bro! Keep up the good work and one day you might own one of those cars :D

which city are you working at, if its not a secrete of course???

Brilliant! Well done for taking action, you have just quadrupled you income in a week! Keep it up lol

awesome. you will for sure own one of those cars in the near future. :) :car:

How did you originally get the introduction to the owners? Did you walk in and sell yourself first or do you have some sort of existing relationship with them?

Hey that is great! I am glad to see your success.
Haha since BHW has helped you so much maybe donor status would
look awesome to. :p Oh and maybe a free Ferrari for Diamond Damien?

Good Luck on your bright future!

Very good, are you their new SEO guy? Hopefully you can keep them happy.

This is awesome, shows what can really happen when you get down and really put yourself out there.

First off, congrats!

Second, from your language I would guess you are in a large American city. This tells me a little about you, and because of that I would like to recommend something. Make em laugh. A good salesman, will seem to be your friend (making you trustworthy), and a salesman second. In reality it's the other way around. When you can make someone laugh - but not by making fun of someone else, you can open them up, and get them to relax a bit. If they relax, they are more likely to follow what you say or tell them to do. Just make sure you laugh too. I know it seems strange, but even if you have heard the same joke, 1500 times, laugh. Don't giggle, don't do what sounds like a fake laugh, in fact practice a couple laughs. Laughing also relaxes your "mark".

Last, wear a suit. You might only have a cheap suit right now... if you can afford a more expensive one, then do so. However if you can't afford it, be aware that great suits can be found at GoodWills, Salvation Army, or other thrift/second-hand stores, just get them tailored to you. And remember to shop around. A Wool suit is the best, a polyester blend might look nice, but it's considered cheaper - it's still nice to wear one if that's all you can afford however. You should dryclean the suit at least every 7 days of wearing it, but 1-2 days is better.

Can't say the exact city but it's eastern US.

Honestly, I had a very hard time even getting my foot in the door. I found a relatively new service (I'm sorry I can't give it away), called up the people who were certified to perform this service and worked out a deal with them to include it in my overall package. I made it my own. After that, I haven't been turned down one time. I've been able to convert 100% of cold calls into meetings every time.

And no, I'm not trying to sell something. I really can't say because it will become so saturated, your neighbors dog will be doing it. I'm very sorry.

My point is, find something that would set you apart from the other SEO "guru's" and make it your exclusive product. Once you've done that, tell the owner: "You know, my company is the only company in [insert state here] that is certified to provide this service. I guarantee that if you don't want it now, you will two years from now and it's going to be a lot more expensive then. Besides, your business will be a pioneer of this [technology, development, etc.] and that's something to be proud of."

They love the pioneer bit. ;)

This.

It's very hot right now so a suit isn't really necessary but dress pants and a shirt absolutely is. Be clean, be shaven, smell nice, fuck bitches

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'll keep working and when I have time, give back to the community.
