Success, Failure, and Potential Redemption

Whatup whatup yall. time for an update.

Definitley things changed a bit the last few days in a good way. Im still not making a ton of money yet but I now have 7 websites!

I ended up getting some xmas money sent to me unexpectedly early, wasnt a fortune but was a couple hundred much needed. I had grandiose dreams of investing some into ad money and finally making it big haha, but i did put it to good use.

I went from 2 sites to 7, and was able to start a couple such as the health site that i had wanted to start.

So I have

- My original mental health niche
-internet marketing niche
- health/wellness niche
- 2 memes websites, one is dog memes
- A hot girls website, with adult pics section coming soon.
- A domain that redirects to a shopify store I am setting up, based on the aliexpress dropship method mentioned on this forum.

This is alot so it will be slow going focusing on traffic, but the websites are already build just some need more content. The 3 meme / hot girl type sites are very simple where I just edit a few lines of code to add images, and can update a single file to test new ads.

I have a dog cpa offer on the dog site, gaming cpa banner on the memes website, and dating cpa offer banner on the hot girls site.

I made some cool custom banners so we will see, I also have it set up to track ad clicks. Right now very little traffic as I just started the sites 2 days ago, so its hard to tell if it will get clicks.

I have facebook pages and insta accounts building for each niche, some faster than others. The dogs and memes will be easier to build but I also want to make sure my health and money niches build up because they have more money potential. I basically just chose the areas I can create content easy and where its worth it.

Heres a meme I made to celebrate 100 likes after 2 days. Personally i think its the best thing ever. Keep in mind it took me less than 5 minutes to whip this up, so it will be easy to post content to my pages each day.

100likessmall.jpg

I also have other various social accounts but I am testing new sites to post on, that willl take a while but I know I can find more traffic.

I am putting my website url on all the 3 niches pictures especially memes I made, so that even if they get shared on other sites it still brings traffic.

I still have my Kindle e-books up. I paused writing for a few days to get all this set up, as I was not planning on having these sites for a while. I decided overall it is smarter to have the sites up in all my planned niches as early as possible, because having traffic for my books and other cpa offers is just as important. With this setup I can focus on making content, and building my pages / traffic up while adding books.

I still make 1 sale every 3 days and get 100-200 page borrows, so I will be close to 10$/ day with that soon. I am getting back on my next book tommorow, and after getting stuff going with my other sites these next books will be better anyways. By the way I spent a bit of money on FB ads but no major result, still worth testing though.

So I have been working my ass off. honestly. I am not saying that to complain I am just stating the journey. I will have a job soon but I needed all day to do these projects, I work all day while taking breaks. The only site not setup is the shopify dropshipping method, which I need to add items to the store tommorow. After that it will be just building traffic / new social pages.

Here is my goals for new years, 1/1/2017 since setting goals helps to get closer to it. It helps me prioritize. Theyve changed a bit now that I have all these websites / pages. Keep in mind I am working on each slowly every day, but sometimes focusing more on others.

- Finish my next series of Kindle books, in the marketing / internet niche. 3 Planned. Im no longer going for spamming tons of books but still want to have at least 15-20 by summer. I have much better chances of traffic now for the books if I work on my websites harder.

- Have all my facebook pages reach 1000 likes, which is 6 or 7 pages total. It will be easier for my meme pages harder for other ones but either way a good goal. Highest right now is 107 likes most are low/new.

- Have all my instagram account, which is 8 or so, reach 10k followers. Most are around 1-3k followers.

- Make at least 100$ in December on Maxbounty to ensure a January payout, and just for a goal.

- Get each website to reach 500 visitors a day. Including Dropshipping one which is the method that I have done least work on.

- Have my websites filled with alot more content, pictures, and fully setup. This isnt a measurable one but its just something I can judge.

Anyways the journey is going well. I never expected to work this much this fast but I am happy with things. Basically I am in a ton of different areas, which can be risky because it is easy to have shiny object syndrome. Still, I have stuff setup so that after a bit more work it will be all about adding content and building traffic, and streamlining it. My goals for my pages / accounts are kind of high this next month I think, but it will be good to push it because those pages are how I will have traffic long term.

What up yall time for another update. I havent made any major money since the last post but things are still moving right along.

I have 6 websites keep in mind, 3 of them are simple image sites for now tho so those are set up so that all I have to do is add images. I plan to add more stuff for them later but for now I just wanted them up. When I spend days in a row working on the same thing I have to change it up.

I havent touched 2 of my actual money niche sites but will probably add some articles soon. My new niche money site is in the health category which is a broad niche but lots of different options. It will probably end up being my main money site, so I am focusing most of my effort on it right now. Since I have so many different websites / goals I try to focus on them one at a time, when it comes to content creation.

I have been doing more and more KW research and onpage SEO for my websites. In searching keywords for my health niche site I happened to stumble upon some that I think are really good. They are actually perfect for me but I wasnt expecting them.

The big money keyword gets 70k searches monthly and is Difficulty level 40 in Moz. Of course I am researching the competition but it looks beatable, even though I have never officially ranked for anything before. I discovered them yesterday morning, and I have about 9 total keywords, most of them are 2k-8k searches and 28-32 difficulty, which is very easy.

I spent the last 2 days building 9 pages for the keywords, with them being hosted on a a new subdomain. I plan to feed link juice in from the main site, and keep the niche site separte. I have done about 50% of the on-page SEO, content etc. on these 9 pages.

Since I just created them i want to give it a few days, and let google index my site. I will continue to update the pages to make google see that it is a current document. I plan to employ link building too but so far not much yet. I just discovered the keywords but I want to rank within a few months hopefully.

I worked very hard to set up all the pages, so its good to switch gears. I plan on adding tons of content to the main niche site, followed by adding content to my other 2.

I am still building social accounts like I said, but need to ramp that up. In the end producing content for my sites is important too, but we will see.

I have not made major kindle sales since last update but I still feel hopeful there. KDP Publishing just added a new paperback option, which is similar to Createspace. However, since I have not actually used CS yet, it will be easier to just do it with Amazon. I have not added any books yet, but I will soon. I am still working on Book #4, but I will say that Ranking for the keywords I found is the HUGE priority.

They are good buyer keywords, and some of them are literally exact matches to CPA offers I have. I will be focusing more effort on that right now than anything else, but I dont need to rush it.

I still plan to have double digit kindle books within a few months, because that would be an amazing long term business. However, I do need to have website traffic to sell more books, so everything I do helps that business anyways. My plan hasn't changed much, but I do plan to spend a bit more time trying to rank for these keywords, but mostly that just adds a big opportunity for me.

Anyways I will be working on content for my sites, finishing another book and learning the ins and outs of SEO.

I would not say that I am an SEO expert, but I have learned a ton recently. That is why this is all worth it to me. I work my ass off here most of the day, but I learn more and more and have already gained tons of skills. If I can rank for some of the keywords I found, I will make at least some money.

Damn this journey thread is 2 pages already, haha.

No major huge changes since the last update, but I still been working hard on my websites. I have decided that either tommorow or the next day, I am going to take a break from working on IM for a whole day. I have not taken a whole day off since I started working again back on Oct 1. I enjoy working and want to see my project succeed, but in the past I have found that burying my head in my work all day every day causes me to lose perspective.

Im still doing good but once again I end up searching for fast results when that is not what I am here for. I managed to send 100 hits to my girl pics website today and a few to my health site. I didn't make any money but got plenty of clicks on my CPA banner, I was kinda surprised. However it is easy for me to get caught up in it and refreshing stats, posting more spam on sites that might get me a bit of traffic.

Its not that its a bad thing, but I have alot of long term goals and work I need to do on my websites. I still plan on focusing most of my linkbuilding and SEO efforts on the health niche site, but Ive found some keywords for 2 of my other sites.

One of them gets 30k-70k searches a month, and is difficulty rating 28 on MOZ keyword tools (very low competition, websites that rank for it seem easy to beat). This keyword is also the exact keywords describing my one niche, so thats a good opportunity. Its not as money of a niche but I will be able to do something with the traffic if I can get it.

I also found some other keywords in my girls niche, one is less competitive so very good chance, the other one is literally "hot girls"

On MOZ keyword competition rater it says the opportunity and potential level is 100, which is rare. It gets average 1 million searches a month. However this is kinda false in my opinion, because I know the top ranking site well and it would be difficult to outrank. Still, maybe ranking on page 1 will be possible, but im not going to make that my priority as I have plenty of low competition keywords found.

Anyways im going to make sure to finish another kindle book before the end of the month, but nothing much happening there. The good thing is that even with no sales, I always get an average of 100-200 KENP pages read, but thats 1 dollar earnings. Still, once i have tons of books I will make alot of money. It will be easier to sell books once I have my website traffic built up, so that is my main priority right now. A month ago I would have told you the opposite, but I think my new strategy to focus on both traffic and content is better.

My facebook / instagram stuff is growing still. All IG accounts are growing steadily but only a few FB pages. I have gotten 200 likes in less than 2 weeks on one page, and getting close on the hot girls one. My money pages, aka the less shareable ones, are still small. However, my next goal is to find ways to easily grow them as well.

I plan on adding a few new things to a website tonight, then figuring out some sort of break system for a couple days. For example, tommrow I might only focus on growing social accounts, as opposed to trying to grow accounts and build sites at the same time.

The day after that i may not do IM at all, because I have stressed myself out lately. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many projects, but they are all worth it and going well. I love working so I can't stand to be idle, but it could really help me re-evaluate my position and my goals. In the long run one day won't make a big deal. It does get tough knowing there is money out there and so many methods, but if I don't focus soley on my projects now I will get too distracted.

I am getting small clicks from my websites to my CPA offers, so I know I just need to keep scaling up my websites. Anyways my main priorities the rest of the month are

- Finishing adding full content to my money sites and pictures sites.
- Write 1 more kindle book thats already in progress
- Grow FB Pages / Insta accounts / Twitter accounts.
- Fully Onpage SEO and site structure optimize all my sites.
- Test with other websites aside from those big 3 for traffic, I have a few others like Tumblr, Pinterest, Reddit.

I feel like if I make sure to grow my social accounts steadily over the month, I will have some results no matter what happens with my websites / CPA offers. I do it all manually but it is very easy when I focus on it. I also have some decent goals for where I want my sites to be by the end of the month content wise. Most of them are still only a couple weeks old but already coming along. They still need alot of work though.

I will be doing small things for traffic, but my main goal is to really keep content and social accounts as my main focus. This will build a solid foundation for 2017 when I start to drive more and more traffic. Anyways see u guys in a few days, I did let myself overthink shit earlier today and start to get overwhelmed. It wasn't hard to get over though.

Small update. Things are still going along. Small little opportunities keep popping up, but im hoping to not add too many more website/niches to my workload. The opportunity isn't really anything crazy but I really like the Cat Bible clickbank product that was just launched here so I have switched one of my websites from regular memes to cat memes / cat content.

I think it will be a better option because I didn't really have much going with the meme site yet, and focusing on a more specific niche seems to work better.

I never took that break from working like I said, but the day I planned to I spent all day working on my shopify store instead. Changing avenues up felt like a break almost, so it worked out. I had registered a domain name and started a store based on the common "Aliexpress dropshipping" method here. I actually feel like it has potential but I had planned on focusing on CPA instead.

I ended up creating a decent niche shopify site, it actually has really cool products but at the same time they can be bought for a better deal off amazon in some cases. Still, most people aren't aware of that. I need to add 1 or 2 small things and that will be setup, but I still have to decide if it is really worth spending time on. The only reason is because the free shopify trial will end soon, and it might not be worth it to keep it going as I am broke.

doggosunsetheader.png

one of my memes I post

My plan is to add those small features and send some traffic before the trial ends on 10/27. If I get some sales, it might support me being able to pay the trial, if not I still really like my store idea so I would probably try to get it going no matter what at some point.

As for my other campaigns I still have plenty of production and stuff to add on all my sites, but each one is at least functional and partially on-page SEOd.

I have probably 30 total accounts with instagram, facebook, twitter, but some are new.

I have not been focused on growing my FB accounts, but I want to start building some up so I can invite to pages. I do however have about 10 FB pages linked to my main account, but some are still low. I have managed to get my memes and my hotties pages above 200 already after a couple weeks, which isn't bad.

I plan to start doing more light friend adding on my accounts, to help grow my FB pages.

As far as traffic goes my hotties site was able to get 100 UVs in a day, with 30-60 the days after just from light facebook group and spamming 1 other site. No major results but at least I can send a few hits.

I also have kept doing keyword research, and will keep doing so. Already found some decent keywords in my new niche.

I am lucky that I get to beta test a new SEO software that is being tested out by people here. I downloaded it today and learned how to work it, and so far have only run a small test.

I tested it with forum links and blog comments. I was able to create 44 backlinks to my main money site, they are verified and I have started pinging them, 6 a day for the next 7 days.

We will see what happens but there is the risk that I could end up using this software to send way to many links to my sites, all of which are 3 months or less old. Some of them have a domain age of 2011 etc. Overall it is an experiment, but it is by far my best chance to build some good backlinks to my websites.

Some of them I may take more risk and see what I can pull off, depending on the niche. I only did a bit tonight I plan to fully use the software tommorow, and it seems like it might turn out to be a really badass SEO kit.

I havent made much money still but I did get a random sale of my first kindle book, so those still get some sales on autopilot.

I also applied for and got hired for a customer service job doing inbound calls for 10.50 an hour, full time which would be pretty sweet. I could leave at any time if my IM income really took off, but it would be really good to give me living money and money to invest in small things. However I had to cheat a drug test because even though weed is legal in CO companies can still choose who they want hired.

Ill find out in a few days, but if I get hired the training doesnt start until Jan 3. Training is full time and paid anyways. That would be awesome because I could keep working on my stuff until then full time, then if I did start I would still have plenty of free time for IM projects.

My goal is to get most of my main onpage seo and website creation done before the end of the month. I also want to have all my social accounts more steady because I seem to only do a few a day. Basically I just have alot of loose ends to tie up, but overall im getting alot done.

This SEO software is a great opportunity, so I am going to try to build a bunch of links for my sites. If it goes bad and I go too hard, its not that big of a deal because they are new sites. However I do plan to stay safe with a few, so we will see.

Hows it going yall. Some of my updates might get a little goofy especially if I dont have pretty charts to show. I just gotta keep my people entertained. No MAJOR changes since the last update as far as actual numbers but ive been making huge changes internally / strategy wise.

It is obvious to anyone im in ALOT of niches, I have 6 websites and 10 total niches, but some are just a FB page, IG account and twitter. Also alot are more important than others, and alot are closely related. That being said, that is still alot of different accounts / niches to manage, so I would caution people from doing it. However, I didnt do it just to do it, they are all niches chosen because of personal interest, high opportinity or other reasons.

In order to make it succeed I had to get ALOT more organized, in order to view my stats, goals, plans and progress. The first major phase of that has been this board in my room I just made.

15622699_1190106601038740_5098045955855624762_n.jpg

I am adding one more board full of papers tommorow so that it wil all be out in the open. I will also have computer spreadsheets, but I HAVE to be able to visualize this to keep up with it. This way I can look up and see which niche needs more followers, notes about keywords etc. Its already making things way easier.

I still need to finish adding bookmarks in chrome for all the FB Pages / groups I use to grow my pages, which is another thing that needs to be efficient. I will be going thru my IG and Twitter accounts manually daily to grow them, I already have but I need to step it up.

Finally I am going to have my list of good article sites / other sites to post on. I do plan to almost only focus on the main easy to expand social networks for now, but other article sites, social bookmarking etc. Will help. Keep in mind I have already done all that stuff before but have not actually set up a good schedule / system.

Without good focus I end up sitting around most of the day and not geting enough work done, so I NEEDED to organize all this shit to make it work. Now that it is more clear and organized, I plan to keep tackling all my goals one at a time. Im still very hopeful for the future and feel like my projects will be going good soon.

Here is a list of my major priorities right now.

- Finish Book #4, I paused it after getting my money to work on my websites, but now that my shits together I want it done by New Years. I actually excited to finish it now.

- Go to one website each day and make a shitload of improvements, which needs to happen to each one. If I actually stay productive and spend a few hours day by day website by website, a week from now each one will be much better.

- Work on my first 25 Amazon Merch T Shirt designs. I have always been interested in that business but never thought it was worth it until I found out about Merch. Since im already on Amazon Books it makes sense, and the T shirts would be an amazing way to monetize 3 to 5 of my niches, if not all of them eventually.

I need merch to approve me, but they have no reason not to, but they are swamped and it is the holidays and they are still new so it may take a few weeks. In the meantime I will have some desgins to upload and test, and I would be willing to try a different distributor if for some reason merch is not possible.

- Transfer my current 3 books to paperback now that I have looked into it more. I don't know if my books will sell as paperback but I expect that it will at least add a few more sales, especially once I have tons of books. I have lots of good book ideas but its hard work doing it all.

My solution is very simple, to be always working on a book project at least some no matter what. I plan to focus them down one by one but instead of going crazy and binge writing it I just need to be conistently working on it. Overall I have alot to do but now that I have it all organized I can see my priorities. Im working on alot more wellness and productivity stuff to keep me going.

I am staying home this holiday, I will be working on my projects. I started a Battlefield 1 IG, and am learning to take screencaps and record videos. I will be adding youtube channels to my list, but I need original content to be safe.

kdpdec.jpg

Here is the last thing, my kindle stats. I get clicks to other stuff but no leads so I wont post. I didnt get any sales for like a week but once again started getting a few from my first 2 books, which gives me hope that it is worth it to keep writing books and trying to get traffic. Ill post more about some new projects next update, also the stats of all my accounts / pages.

Happy New Years
Yay happy new years guys. Thanks for still following.

I am still workin hard tonight. ive had plenty of new years parties so im not worried about it, this picture down here shows what I am about. Drinking a massive energy drink and layin the foundation

foundation.jpg
You dont actually have to comment its jsut a dog meme.

I did make a maxbounty lead off a website for 2.80$. Its not much but shows that my banner ads on my website can convert. My main achievement these few days has been creating and uploading a bunch of gaming videos to my new youtube channel. I knew I was going to need to make videos for my projects soon, so it is good because it has been much easier than I thought. This is an example of my favorite video so far, which isnt bad considering I had no video editing software a few days ago.

I figure I am playing BF1 in my free time a bit to take breaks from working, so might as well turn it into unique content. It will take a while to get subscribers to my Youtube channel, but it has been worth it getting a few videos to start it up. Youtube appeals to me because of the long term potential, and steady income if I am able to make over 10k+ subscribers. I plan to only use unique content to lessen my risk of youtube banning me.

I still will be focusing hard on my main projects, such as kindle marketing and my websites, but I want to have the ability to upload videos over time.

I will sum up 2016 and where I am going for tonight's update.

I got back into internet marketing 3 months ago by writing my first kindle book.
I got back into spamming a bit but realized it was a waste of time.
Worked hard on two more kindle books
Built 6 basic websites and did some basic SEO \
Created a FB, IG and Twitter for almost each niche, totaling nearly 10.
Grew some to nearly 2k, some are still around 500-1000
Created some Youtube channels / content
Got a good long term plan going in my niches

In 2017 I plan to expand heavily. Even in these 3 months I have accomplished alot despite alot of slowdowns and having to learn alot of things. Now that I have learned alot, it will be easier going. I still have alot to learn, but I am happy with my progress. I still don't have any major money, but I have a few good signs that I need to scale up.

I will be working hard the next few days to finish updating my websites, and tying up a few other loose ends. I am also making good progress once again with book #4, so that will be done soon.

My goals for 2017 are these, this is just off the top of my head-

- Have at least 20 Kindle Books, but hopefully up to 30.
- Have at least some page 1 ranking for my websites, which are already being indexed for easy keywords
- Be making at least 500$ a day
- Have Amazon Merch T- shirts selling, not sure how much because still not accepted.
- Have at least 5,000 total traffic across all websites daily
- Have at least one channel with 10k subscribers, 20k total (multiple channels)

I will update more in a few days, but that is my new years update!

This picture I made describes one of my facebook pages

Howdy yall. Dont have enough energy to do anything else tonight so posting a quick bullet point update.

Here is a picture of what I look like while working.

steal.jpg

- Still making random Kindle sales, made one today. This gives me more motivation to keep cranking them out.
- FB Pages growing, 400 likes for biggest. IG accounts growing, most have 2-3k followers. Twitter growing slowly.
- Got Google + and Pinterest going too, still working out the consistent posting but I like these because its only 1 account but multiple boards, so it will be easy to manage.
- Keep finding keywords, still need to switch one domain over but search engines at least have some pages of some sites on 70-80 for search on low comp.
- Getting small traffic and CPA clicks still but nothing major yet, but very hopeful.

- Finally focusing on sites one by one and getting them revamped. Site # 1 just switced domain over to partial match, and will be fully finished tommorow where all I need to do after is update. Trying to rank for keyword that is low comp (27) and gets 30-70k searches.

So anyways I got overwhelmed for sure a bit with so many sites, but they are all narrowed down well so really I only have 6, and they are all up but most need updates. By focusing on them one at a time they are getting done, and my pages a growing.

Also I got turned down for a call center job due to theft and burlary on my background. It sucks it was 4 years ago but nothing I can do. It does give me a bit more motivation to succeed in IM because now I see that it will be that much harder to get a good "white collar" job.

I got turned down for wal mart a few years ago for the same reason... lol

I am looking for others but also probably going to go back to waiting tables for fast money and because it is not so bad. If i get some money coming in I could reinvest into a bit more, but mostly it can support me until I succeed here.

Ive been getting alot more done these last days, so in a few days I will have more progress to update.

Update 1 / 9

Fuck im tired.

Hahaha no really, I am, but not complaining. Ive been working really hard the last few days to fully finish one of my meme related websites. Even though they were already up, they were basically just pictures, so now I have added alot of stuff. In addition I finally got good at building mobile reactive webpage designs, which will be a huge asset.

I fluctuate between being distracted and being focused but for the most part I feel like I am still moving foward daily.

newsales.png

I still keep making some kindle sales even though I have not done anything there for a month and a half. In fact, this 3 day streak is the best so far. Its still not much, but its good to see that even with only 3 books they are making sales with no effort. I plan to get more traffic to the books and tons more books soon. I still want to have a large number of books within he next year but I also think CPA has tons of potential.

I will be working on some youtube videos and promotion for my site I just finished tommorow. I will try to avoid doing too much website work since I spent the last 3 days on it. Next I am going back to revamp the hot girls site the same way, and tackling my sites one by one.

My social accounts continue to grow as well, so this journey is just getting started. i have already put tons of work in, but there is tons to go. I feeel like I am on the right path, and that if I keep at it success will come. The only thing is that it may continue to be slow, but once it picks up it will be here to stay.

In some ways posting in this thread is pointless because I will either succeed or not , but I really enjoy posting every few days. it helps me keep things in perspective.

Since the last update I have been working hard at continuing to build my websites, and grow some social media accounts. Some of my websites are showing up in search engines, which is a good sign. When I say showing up I mean barely, but keep in mind I still have yet to do major link building, and my domains are still very new.

smerush.png

My hope is to look back on this image a year from now, and especially 2 - 3 years from now, and laugh.

I do show up on page 1 of bing and yahoo for one of my main keywords, but not near the top. Also it doesnt get nearly the traffic google search does, which still will take more time and linkbuilding. I continue to learn and hone my skills. For any new people out there i can honestly say getting out there and trying to do something really is the best teacher, then you can keep learning and trying.

I also have found some new ideas for Kindle books, based on my websites. They will be picture related. I originally would not have thought it a good idea until i saw that others were doing it already, so I can do it better and cheaper. However based on the sales ranking it will be similar to my current ones, making a few sales here and there. Still, it will be fairly easy to put together and opens up at least 4 or 5 more book ideas.

Im still unemployed so working on IM alot, but have 2 job interviews tommorow. If they go well I could be waiting tables again, which would be really good since it is actually decent short term money.

Here is my short term priority list.

- Finish this new kindle picture type book, I have 400 pics saved out of probably 600 or so that I feel like I need. It will probably take me at least 4 or 5 days to finish totally.
- Keep growing that niche's social accounts specifically these days, before focusing on others again, this helps me not get too sidetracked.
- Work on some youtube videos I been planning. So far no action there planning on it taking a bit of time to see results, its not a main focus.
- Switch over 2 more of my domains to better names when I have the funds, they will be more targeted and better for brand building, which is what I am doing with all sites.
- Switch my ebooks over to paperback format on KDP as well, and my true main focus these next few months will still be on pushing out alot of kindle books, thats priority #1.
- Once I have some of these things done, I need to start adding more content to my 3 blog/content based sites, which I have neglected as I set up these other viral content type sites.

Overall I am happy with where I am at. I spent alot of time setting up my websites as opposed to creating kindle books and content, but for me it is very worth it to have them up and getting indexed as early as possible as opposed to 6 months later wishing my sites had some age.

We will see how things go, update in a few days.

Ahh shit ni99a this journey

Im still doing my thing, have alot on my plate but I always will. I have been doing better about narrowing my focus, when I spend all day running from thing to thing I get bogged down and depressed.

Even though I have 7 total niches/sites I am not afraid to focus soley on one at a time, which is what I have been doing. I am trying to perfect my main site/niche #1 before copying some improvements over to the others. A few sites still get some search clicks and impressions, my site actually shows up at the top of page 2 on Bing for it's main keyword.

Search Engine Master (not really)

However, Bing/Yahoo isn't a ton of traffic, it ranks for some other small google keywords. Itll take some more links for google to care, but its a good start.

One of my other sites is in a similar category, but has tons of keyword potential, even if they aren't buyer related keywords, for example 30-70k traffic monthly and 23 difficulty rating. Overall my potential is good in SEO long term but it may take some time to outrank other older sites, even if my keywords are low competition. I am hesitant to do any blackhat linkbuilding, but considering strategies that are low risk, like eventually having my own small PBN for extra juice. As of right now most of my domains are still very new.

Starting a Job

I start orientation for Joe's crab shack tommorow, which I am very happy about. I have been unemployed since I quit my last waiter job in September after nearly 3 years. I am actually fine with going back to waiting tables, its not the most glamorous but I was good at it, and its one of the only jobs I can stand. In the end having a computer job which I cant get because of my background, might get tedious since I plan to work on IM in plenty of my off time.

Now I will have money coming in again, it has been very good having the last 3 months off because even though I struggled, I have gotten alot of work done online and set myself on a good path toward eventual success.

One I get caught up a bit financially, I will be able to invest at least a bit of extra money into advertising and IM ventures, such as new domain names. I don't make a shitload, but usually when I wait tables I make 300-500 a week no matter what, sometimes up to 1000 at busy restaurants but that takes alot of running.

Ultimatley the idea is to keep working hard on my internet projects with the job, even if it is a bit less actual time. That way even if my internet earnings start to reach 30-50$ a day, that will add up nicely with my job income. I don't plan on quitting a job again unless I have fairly good, consistent earnings, and a decent bankroll saved up, no matter how much work it takes.

Accomplishments and goals

I finally converted the first of my books to Paperback on KDP, which is still in Beta but fully functional it seems. No orders yet but I still go many days without a Kindle sale, as I only have 3 books. Still, learning how to convert it to paperback is a new skill, and I plan to convert each book as well as future book. It mostly just involves turning it into a PDF, which is not the typical e-book format for Amazon.

If I even get a few extra sales, it will be worth it. Ive been compiling 800+ images for my next book, I estimate it will be fully done within a week, but its alot of work and will take time to make 2 formats.

Ive consolidated in some ways, I have a list of all my accounts and sized, and a small task list written out. I have a whiteboard as well and it helps me stay organized. I decided to not worry at all about my Youtube / Gaming channel as I don't have a capture card for easy videos. It makes it so tedious that it becomes a time drain, so I had to accept that I have better things to do for the next month or so.

I have a big list of web 2.0 / article sites to try out, and upgrades to make to my website setup / layout.

Other than that I am uploading designs to Teespring to try it out, and focusing hard mostly on finishing my Kindle books, and transferring a couple more to paperback.

My main goal right now focuses more on my well being. I have been taking shitty care of my health, so I am trying to start fresh tommorow. I need to focus more on not smoking MMJ wax, drinking soda/energy drinks, and get more excercise / meditation / affirmation. This will definitley help my overall marketing goals.

Other than that I am still doing my same thing. Growing all these websites and social accounts slowly, while creating more content. I will get used to working again, and hopefully be more productive in my off time as a result. i will keep updating, but if no major results happen, I may only update once or twice a week to not flood my own thread.

I am in this for the long term, and plan to build and build no matter what. I know at some point in the future, I will be looking back, glad I put this work in. Ive done it before, focusing hard on my goal and making sacrifices knowing it will pay off, and I enjoy the work.

The only thing that will separate my success from failure, is if I can cut out the clutter and distractions and get my work done, because what I do does get time intensive. Only time will tell.

My largest Facebook Page / IG Brand is at - 600 FB Likes - 2700 IG Follows with decent engagement, and 300 Twitter. Before long hopefully it will be much bigger.

Hey guys, another update here. Over the last weeks / months things keep changing so much and surprises keep coming, but I finally got the one I wanted. Its still not a huge deal but I came accross some good courses / info about PPC that allowed me to get cheap clicks, as well as a landing page / campaign that works. Obivously I won't share the campaign here, as that would blow up the method.

What I will say is that it involves using Bing ads and CPA, but im already thinking of how to scale it to different traffic sources in the future. I have also already created my own version of the campaign with a different offer to try and spread my baskets.

Honestly I got lucky, I jumped at a sketchy looking (to a trained eye) opporunity because I had nothing to lose. I also start my new job waiting tables tommorow, and no matter how much money I make with this method I do not plan on quitting that job anytime soon. I will be able to use my tips to keep my campaigns running once im working full time in a week or so.

In the meantime I have a 200$ bing ads coupon, and could spend up to 100$ if I had to keep them running. Right now its too early to tell on campaign # 2 and # 3, but campaign #1 made me 104$ today, with about a 40 dollar ad spend, for a 60 dollar profit.

Anyways I am really happy. I still have all my same plans with my websites, and social media accounts. In light of my new method / new job I have consolidated so that I am only trying to grow 5 or 6 social account sets, and still focusing on slow growth. I am still going for SEO, and more money will only help. However, I am focusing hard on new campaign ideas and hoping to keep spreading out these PPC campaigns / methods, so that the profit is dependable.

Having a bunch of ranking sites, social accounts, and kindle books is still in my main plan, but I have also been waiting for an opporunity like this. We all know methods like PPC are out there, but sometimes it takes some guidance to know what to do, and people are not willing to share exact campaigns often without payment simply because it is smart. If I shared it here 100 people could bid the same keywords.

I just got lucky, at the right place at the right time (I spend all day on this shit) and it has at least opened the door for me to start doing PPC with having the initial money for the coupon, being able to create landing pages etc.

I will update it again probably tommorow since I just started two new campaigns. Overall I am very greatful, because breaks dont always come. I finally have the chance to take advantage of one. My aim is max cash flow, by waiting tables at my new job and doing PPC, and stacking up some saving / having money to keep funnelling into my ads.

Anyways this journey just heated up a bit!

Not many people have this kind of energy to keep going. I'm 100% sure you will reach your goals.

Stay focused!

Just another update since I just started that PPC campaign that day and wanted to see how it went. It has been going well believe it or not, not all of the earnings below were profit as far as ad revenue goes because I spent probably 150 on ads but it was still profitable, and since its still on coupon its all money in the bank.

It definitley feels good to have some successful and simple campaigns. I took the first one and tried to make my own copies of it based on different niches, and I also have a second LP version that is a different angle / offer and keyword set. Here is the breakdown of how it went. Keep in mind I cant reveal exact niches or KWs because I would have direct competitors and that would eventually kill it.

Campaign #1 - original one that is still the most successful. It gets a high landing page CTR which sets it apart from the other ones so far. I get a couple hundred clicks a day to the offer results in 1 or 2 leads. Keep in mind though its still very early so we will see how it keeps doing.

Campaign #2 - Got a conversion for 65.00 so it was technically profitable / break even. However it got a much lower landing page CTR so I have paused it for now. My funds are still slightly limited until my tips from waiting tables start rolling in (next week) and my affiliate earnings get paid in mid-february, after which i would supposedly be put on weekly payments.

In light of that, I paused #2, but plan to re-enable once I have more money to spend testing it. This shows why it is hard to break into some methods like PPC without money to test. Basically I know campaign #1 gets a high CTR and converts, and I won't even have enough money to keep it running after probably 4 or 5 days tops, so its more worth it to keep my money there.

Campaign #3 was dispproved, used the same style as #1 but in the male enhancement niche. Im not sure if my ad method will accept that type of product, so I am not that worried about trying to push it past approval right now.

Campaign #4 was also similar to #1 but in the biz opp niche. It might have potential, but once again got lower CTR and is not worth running until I have money to test it.

So I am chilling with Campaign #1 running, my goal is to achieve at least 500$ in earnings before the end of January, because the more I make now the bigger my first payment will be, and that will give me a better ad budget.

I have also been consolidating my other projects over the last few days, in light of the fact that I want to pursue paid ads hard now that I got this break.

I still have the same niches and websites, but once again I am leaving certain accounts / niches idle because they have less potential.

All in all I have about 5-6 IG accounts, and twitter accounts, with FB pages and websites for each, all are based on long term strategy. However, this is at least 2 or 3 less than before, which was harder to manage. Now that things are way more organized (I did this since I knew I would be starting my job) I am going into steady growth mode, since I have not been consistent on each niche.

My sites are still just starting to show up in search engines, but Bing and Yahoo seem to like them more.

My short term plan is -

Get used to seeing clicks and ad spending, so I am not refreshing like a crackhead. Since I now only have 1 active campaign it is much simpler to play with for now.
- Finish my next kindle projects, because I still see alot of potential there
- Work on new ads / keywords, but I may not focus on this until I get more money to play with.
- Finish updates to my sites, and practice growing each account on a schedule

I read a good productivity PDF, so I am working on putting it into practice. Once my websites and accounts are back growing in addition to my new ventures, it should secure my profits in the more long term future.

My Focus

Right now my focus is CASH FLOW. I have been basically broke and jobless the last 3 months, surviving on help from family while looking for a job / doing my new IM journey. This is a good change too, because when I did marketing from 2010 - 2013, I was very reluctant to get a job. Everybody has their own situation, but in mine I know that even with these new earnings, I need a job to get my financial shit right faster.

This is my chance to do it right though, so I plan to keep going hard and I still do hope to be independent and free 6-9 months from now. It is interesting that I finally have some profits coming in, even if they are still modest, only after I finally get hired after months of unemployment and no earnings. I didnt try that hard to get a job but still, I tried lol.

Now I finally have CPA earnings coming in, and will for sure be waiting tables at a decent restaurant for the near future, which is on average 50-100 a day in my pocket at the expense of 1/3 of my day, but it goes by quick. I plan to utilize both streams of income, and maximize my time to get ahread now that I have the chance. Keep following, ill update in a few days with more earnings.

Just a small final update on my first PPC campaign and how it went. In the end it made me 373$ total with Maxbounty, I have ran out of money to put into the ads, I may be able to refresh it once this weekend for a day, but its not a big deal. Keep in mind I have been broke and unemployed so most of my ad spending came from a coupon.

However I am lucky that I literally just started a job at the same time. I should have cash tips coming in next week, I will invest what I can into that aside from food etc.. By a week or 2 from now I hope to be able to keep them alive all day which costs about 40-50$.

earnings.png

There are my earnings from the campaigns, I will break the profit down real fast and then this post will be done. Keep in mind in reality this is 90% profit because I had a 200$ bing coupon, I spent about 30 of my own money. The profit / loss still matters because I don't plan to use any more coupons.

Campaign #1 - Earned 312.00$ - Spent - 130.00$ - For a total profit of 182.00$ - Not bad. I tested different keyword lists, different bids, and also played around with alot of things, since this is still a learning process. I actually ended up spending more money near the end, while getting more clicks, but at a higher cost. I will re-enable this one as much as I can, as it is the best so far.

Campaign #2 - Earned 65.00$ - Spent - 64$ - Profit of 1$ - This one seems like it has potential, but its hard to tell. I converted a 65$ lead immediatley, but did not spend enough to see if it would get more. It has a much lower Landing page CTR so I stuck with #1. I plan to spend more money to test this heavily once I have more cash to spend. This shows how important a budget is for PPC, but im just starting so itll take a bit.

Campaign # 3 - 10 Clicks - 0 Earnings, only spent about 10$. I just tested it barely but realized that it was not economical as it takes alot of money to test my offers, since this one is 100$ PPS. I do plan to test it more but not worried about it.

Now that my stuff is paused I am chilling out. I still been doing my usual stuff and training at joe's crab shack. I am taking it easy the rest of the day and doing more reflection and easy tasks.

I plan to keep working on my sites and social accounts, and finishing more kindle projects. I won't worry about my PPC stuff too much for the rest of the week, but once money is available I have plenty of plans. I am still very happy I finally made some money, I estimate I would make around 300$ profit a week at least if I could keep this ad running.

Update 1.29.2017
The Journey Continues.

Things are still goin ok, I started waiting tables again this week. Im still training but my first shift is tuesday. It does still sometimes suck waiting on people and being subservient, but its worth it for the money, especially now. I also have to dance a few times a shift which is really hard for me but not that bad. On the upside, the server said he makes 300 a night in the summer, which is not hard to believe as this city is busy then. I would expect more like 100-200 a night, which will be easy a few nights a week since crab is so pricey.

Working there is nice since ive been so unemployed, but still makes me realize that I want internet success ASAP so I can leave subservience behind. For now it actually helps, even the 20$ I made was put into Bing ads. I was lucky enough to be able to put another 80$ into Bing since my ads were paused. So far I have made 104 off that, but I have enough spend left to probably convert another lead.

What I love about this campaign is that it is very dependable. Even after pausing my ads (ran out of money) it fires right back up, and gets a steady CTR and conversion rate. My goal is to keep them running as much as possible for the next 2 days, before Feb 1st which is the end of the pay period. The more I make the more my first Maxbounty deposit is, right now its up to 533$.

Supposedly after that first payment is sent on Feb 14th, I am eligible for weekly payments. I will push heavily for it because that will make a huge difference it being able to scale, even with tips I start making at work I need some IM cash flow.

Total Spend on my campagn: 184$

Total Revenue: 468

Total Profit: 284$

Overall not bad at all! Keep in mind its basically the 1 week mark for that campaign, but it was paused many times when funds ran out. Hell I would be happy to start with 284 a week profits, but if I can get it funded the whole week I estimate 500-600$ profit. Also for some reason my clicks have gone way up today, possibly from changes, or the fact that the weekend is good. Hopefully it will stay that way, and I can scale a bit.

My main priorities now are -

- Reaching the point where my ad campaign is fully funded and doesn't run out, it may take until my first payout, or if my tips are big enough next weekend.
- Finish design changes / improvements to sites. My main niche site is starting to get 20 visits a day autopilot from social and search. I am hoping to push hard here so the majority of the creation work is done on the sites. I still see lots of potential here even if PPC is a big hit right now.

-Get my consistent follow/posting schedule for my social media pages.

My facebook page in 1 niche is growing by 50 likes this week with no explanation, it went from 50 to 100 with no promo. I am happy about it but it is strange lol. Also my best page is at 600, and I have one at 400. I also have 2 bastard pages that are 0.

My plan with my facebook pages is to keep using groups to grow slowly, and in a month or 2 start playing with FB ads to get likes, which ive done some before. My money goes to my ads right now, but soon I hope to use it to get my FB pages bigger.

Anyways im very happy to be earning steady money finally, I didn't expect to yet. I did work hard for months to learn stuff and build sites though. I will update on 2/1 to share how much I made by the end of the month.

Howdy folks, im going to try to change things up some with different update styles to keep it fresh. This one will be more short / to the point.

Its the end of January, so ive been back at this for 4 months now. My goal by new years was 10$ a day, which I did not hit. However, I can safely say that a month later I have hit it with this campaign.

Today was the last day before the end of the pay period. Right now I am on net 15 but asked them for an early payment. I do not know if I will get it because it is not normal, but I decided it was worth asking because it would help me resume my PPC campaigns and send them more money. If not, I have to wait until the 15th to get it, but that won't be so bad either. After that I will be on weeklies, which will help my cash flow.

ohnotoday.png

Those are my stats today. Unfortunate because I went into "debt" to run it one last day, trying to maximize my payout before earnings are cut off for the month. Bascially I let them run until before my payment threshold, so I won't get charged. However I will have to clear up the payment before I can resume the campaigns.

It is a high dollar payout so usually only converts 1 in 140, but this is the only time it has never converted. Even with that, I still have a 200% ROI, and even though it sucks I won't let one day of no conversions bother me.

Especially when it looked like this the day before, with less traffic.

goodmoney.png

I barely kept it up with some money I got from stuff, but after tonight it will be paused until either I get my maxbounty early payout (not crossing fingers) or this weekend when I make some tips. Its a bad feeling knowing that I could be making money if my campaigns weren't paused, but soon they will be active all day. I even got a sketchy call from a private number offering a loan, but im not that desperate lol.

kdp.jpg

I still have Amazon Kindle sales happening a bit, but sporadic as I have done little there. I plan to try and see it through to the next level over the next few months.

Other news: My favorite niche / humor site gets 30 UVs a day, mostly from facebook and search. It makes me happy seeing it have potential, especially with small ad clicks already.

My facebook pages are getting better. Still only have 3 decent ones, but my main one grew by 150 likes in 2 days up to nearly 800, which isn't bad since its all been from group posting. Another one gets about 10-20 a day automatically plus boosts from group posts as well. I plan to add small paid ads to ramp them up soon.

Here is an example of what I don't want to happen. (humor pic)

16298885_1195487867155740_3381793282613802591_n.jpg

But of course I have my websites as the end destination so facebook can never delete those.

I will update again if I get paid and start running ads again, otherwise I may stay quiet for a few days. I am still off most days of the week until busy season as work picks up. I am getting things done but still wasting a ton of time, so that is my main focus. Wellness, drive, motivation, and productivity.
