Sure...

Being labeled a Night Owl and associating the term with intelligence is cool and all.

But I prefer the term Night Weasel

I can definitely be more productive between 9pm and 4am, but I can just as easily get super distracted and go off on a tangent for hours.

That explains why I am such a dullard as I'm an early riser and have been for more years than I can count.

I do my best work, well best in my mind but I live in my mind, early in the day and tend to slow my roll later in the day.

Well there's another theory called the biphasic sleep schedule which says we are meant to sleep twice in a 24 hour period. Each sleep should last 4 hours. I've personally found this as very effective to stay productive and alert at all times.

Research proves : Night bunnies are even smarter.
We already know bunny has huge ego ;)
I wake up at 4:30am and am the smartest guy I know
Bruh, in my teens if left alone I'd go to sleep in the morning and wake up before noon. In my 20s I took some ayurvedic treatment and that fixed my sleep to wake up early in the morning. Now my rhythm's fucked again, some days I wake up at 2am (wtf is that even). My rhythm is just officially fucked, at this point I can't even say I'm night owl or early riser, I just have some hours during the night that I'm usually awake regardless if I sleep early and awake during the night or don't sleep and go to sleep in the morning. It's literally that, can't sleep during some hours lol.

Probably related to your style of work and you being good for society in terms of having a big family.

Cause if you don't have kids or aren't living good, why would you wake up early. To read cease and desist letters? I doubt it.

I agree from personal experience. However it affects the health. I have been both an early riser for a few years and then night owl for many years. Now trying to become an early riser again.

While my mind is relaxed during the night, I figured it's also because there isn't much noise/disturbance outside. Hence I plan on implementing few strategies to be productive in the day too.

Thats really true.. I have seen people in my gang and relatives who look to be smarter than others and they used to be active at nights studying or reading or learning anything.

I thing is something about conentration and because the brain is always alert because had less sleep I'm not am expert on this at all is just an idea, besides I'm not that good with short memory I immediately forget everything, attention is really bad so maybe I'm the exception :D or something else is affecting my normal brain funuction :anyway: but there are exceptions to the rule

What's the difference between early birds and night owls? Early birds prefer to go to bed early and wake up early, and tend to feel their best in the morning. Night owls, on the other hand, stay up late and like to sleep in. Night owls find they feel and perform better later in the day.

I used to watch WSJ's CEO quick question video series which all included the night owl/early bird question.
There is no difference. 100% personal.
