How many article/content you have in total and what about the quality of link that you acquire and why google hit you it just of think content or anything else!

What niche category were you in? I've seen a bunch of penalties for thin content these past couple of days.

3 articles in total I have. Competitors mostly have one...
Gaming. But not hack/cheat/crack niche which is why I'm frustrated. I have few websites in those niches with only one article and ranking and sites with more articles that are good, but this one gets hit with thin content... nothing I can do now but start a new one.

Try adding fresh content lines to your target URL.
You can use Above the fold technique to add more content.
Check for following:
- Do you have headings, bullet points and call to actions above the fold?
- Do you feature bullet points containing key services and benefits, and do they link to relevant internal pages?
- Do you have numerous, keyword savvy call-to-actions that direct visitors to the same end goal?
Also, make better use of social media.

Same here,wordpress wwebsite about 1 year old... based on a low comp keyword not even that many monthly searches.
I started as a microniche with 10 articles..in the past year i have grown that to 50 articles (all +500 words).. main keyword still bouncing page 2-3.
Bought some seo here from trusted sellers (wont tell names as i don't want to hurt anyone's services), links got indexed fairly quickly but didnt effect my ranks.
On the other hand i was making a pure html site for some private client.. and he got better ranking within 4 months with almost no seo.
I am starting to think, could the problem be in the website platform/architecture?

Yes, the platform does matter. I have analyzed alot of websites and concluded that html sites rank better than wordpress.

i dont think so. only thing that would be different is SIZE (wp bigger) but you lose one click ssl/seo plugins/cache plugins/ etc

Why have you concluded this? In most study cases I see WP > HTML
On-topic: With another reply, try to optimize the content to be in the context of your niche. Don't focus on KW's.

He's right. Wordpress sites rank lower than other language sites (from my test). I had a site rank for terms such as "Sneakers" "Air Jordans" for my fashion blog. I had to keep it updated and also make sure I had links coming to it always because if my site wasn't being updated it slowly started to fall off.
My shopping cart site (OSCommerce at the time) was ranking for all kw's as well but it took a lot less effort. It makes sense, word press sites IMO should always be updated, that's how I would see it if I was Google.

Time to move away from wordpress. Some seo guru should lighten why the platform matters in case of ranking. Atleast then it may be tweaked.

What I found as a great way to get unstuck from page 2 is social signals.
I send social signals to money site, tier 1 links, pbn links, you name it.
I've set up GSA SER with SocialSER.net plugin, so now it's automatically sharing my site on a random social network (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus) every 30 minutes just shows google that there is real social activity going on.
Don't know why it's not more common.

Wow, it's almost as if DA/PA/TF/CF are indicative and not primary data from Google!
In all seriousness, you cannot just take the information from whatever tool you use at face-value. It does not crawl at the same rate as Google and should therefore just be used as an indicator rather than hard data. Just treat it as secondary data, which it is.
My guess is that your site age is hamstring you. Build more links over time and you should see results.
