Hello SEOs,

I currently have a casino-themed website primarily focused on one main brand keyword. The website is nearly 3 months old. In the beginning, everything was progressing well, but at some point, it disappeared from the rankings. After auditing and recovering, the rankings returned to the 7x range. However, despite trying various approaches such as auditing the homepage, internal links, adding content, and building high-quality backlinks, the website has shown no improvement in rankings. It remains stuck in the 7x position—neither dropping nor increasing, with no movement at all—although the rankings of specific post keywords have shown some progress.

Could it be that my website is affected by the Google Sandbox? I would greatly appreciate advice from experienced SEOs.

It is possible.

Your niche is also very aggressive.

Check the content and link velocities of top competitors. It's possible your pattern is way off.

Hi, in this timatics don't get hung up on one site. Make grids, it's expensive. Look for interconnections, hire specialists or study material on the subject. More domains equals more experience.

You should increase quality link building and check on-page SEO techniques.

It is not on the sandbox and your keyword might be competitive I think. You can focus on more long tail keywords and add more high quality articles relevant to your topic with internal linking. Keep building the links from high quality websites and don't over with the exact match. Try to diversify them with more brand, long tails, generic, and naked anchors.

Analyze your top competitor to identify what kind of topics, articles, and keywords they are ranking for. And work around those to improve the rankings of your website.

Thank you! This keyword indeed has very high competition, with dozens of new websites being launched every month, and competitors investing heavily in their platforms. I'm currently experimenting with the method of redirecting 301 to an aged domain to evaluate its effectiveness.

Thank you for the advice. I’m currently experimenting with the 301 redirect method to an aged domain to evaluate its effectiveness. My competitors are also using this approach to compete and have successfully achieved top rankings.

You've picked a tough niche, get some high powered same niche backlinks pointing to your site, get some content on some blogs and get your website heaving.

Thank you for your advice. I’m currently working for a company and we have a team developing satellite websites, but the system is not yet complete for deployment. I also agree with you on the importance of building multiple websites.

Thank you, but this brand currently belongs to the company, and the competition is very fierce. I’m just trying to defend the brand and ensure that the traffic is not stolen by competitors.

It's possible your site is in the Google Sandbox, a period where new sites struggle to rank highly despite efforts. Focus on consistent quality content, natural link-building, improving user experience, and patience, as rankings may improve with time.

Your site could be in the Google Sandbox, which typically lasts 3-6 months, so be patient, focus on diversifying content, building trust with high-quality backlinks, improving user signals, avoiding over-optimization, and targeting long-tail keywords to build authority gradually.
