Stripe Raises $150M in Funding

I think that most of us secretly, or openly, root for every payment processor besides Paypal. I would love it if one of them were to challenge Paypal for being the most widely used. I think it's bullshit that every time I'm paid, I have to come to terms with the option of it being randomly taken by Paypal.

An excerpt from the article: "To that end, Stripe says the funding will be used to build this out further, with more developer tools, acquisitions and other services to help entrepreneurs run their businesses. It’s also going to ramp up its hiring, the company said.".

Amen to that brother! I really hope they will succeed.... so far they have been improving greatly and their API is super user-friendly. Wish them only the very best!!!

Excellent news. Competition will force Paypal to update their design to web 2.0 and in 20 years they'll add HTML 5.

Hahaha, right?! Their whole design is trash along with the way they handle their affiliates. Hopefully Stripe pushes them out of the way.
