Follow one market, dont invest world-wide, you wont sleep.

If you have money, i mean monay, hire someone.

I tried CFD trading for one day, made $550 from 9-12am, then lost about $700 from 12 to 5pm and decided that I know way too little about it (yet) to play that game.
Honestly I was just gambling and that one should not do if the goal is to make money.

I enjoyed it very much though, so I don't feel like I wasted time and money that day.

I never got into stock trading. I trade currencies in the foreign exchange market (Forex.) High risk-High reward market. Trading is all about developing a strategy--->implementing it--->sticking to it. Like Josh has stated above, there should be no emotion involved. Some traders will lose big, panic, enter into more trades in an attempt to get their earnings back..and wipe out most of their account in the process. A trading strategy should include: Money management/Risk Management, entry strategy, exit strategy. What type of trader do you want to be? Scalper, swing-trader, etc. That's something you have to figure out before trading your hard earned money.

Start paying attention to economic calendars. Federal reserve announcements, a change in interest rates, Consumer price index reports, Gross Domestic product price index, etc..etc. These types of announcements could move the markets temporarily or could begin a large trend or trend reversal, so it's important to pay attention.
