I use Keepass, I like it. But to be honest, I have not used other programs, so there is nothing to compare

Yeah, I feel like that.

I mean, I don't know how "strong" the protection of a zip file is with the password. I would imagine someone could run a program and try different possible passwords on that file file as much as they want. But a long and difficult password would probably make it impractical/impossible for them to open it.

On the other hand, maybe, probably, possibly, there are other hacking methods to break it open. I don't really know.

But I feel it's good enough.

For added protection, if super paranoid, don't open that zip file on your work computer or on any device that's connected to the internet. If you need to get any of those logins, open the USB on a device that's not connected to the internet, and type the logins where you need to.
 
Since the last announcement, I've switched from lastpass to bitwarden. The apps are done well and everything works like lastpass, even with a free account. Can you also confirm (I've already checked on the web) that it's safer than lastpass?

It's safer
It's open source, feel free to audit it youself or pay someone to audit it for you.
If you want it to be even safer or use the bitwarden self host solution.

thank you. My impressions of the software are very good, the only negative note is that it doesn't save new passwords/users when you register on a site or update your password. I did some tests and the warning never comes out, while on lastpass it was always present. For heaven's sake, you can give up something since it's safer and also free if you don't have any particular uses

yes, i have everything set up. But I've read on the official forum and on the internet that it's a known problem and it happens often. I tried on some site and actually, it didn't ask me anything...which browser do you use?i'm on brave
 
i will never understand how people can store their passwords online. at least use a local password manager if you cant remember them...
just use easy to remember sentences or word combinations that are long, its much more secure as a password like: SHhjPa-2347$!
