Steps to get any website ranked!

I have little bit of knowledge on how to get any website ranked. And to be sure that I 'm following the right procedure. Just adding a few things that I do.

Looking for the answers if I m doing anything in a wrong way.

Here are some of the points that I work on -

1. As soon as I get a website. First thing that I do is to check on-page of that website using some tools. Say, moz or other tools.
2. After that, I start with the on-page and make necessary changes to make it optimized for getting ranked on first page of google.
3. Keyword research is another important part that helps. Checking competitors priority and start to work with the low priority keywords and then heading towards medium and than high priority keywords.
4. Now that, I 'm all set with the required stuffs. Off-Site activities is what I target for few days. A new website shows fluctuation on my work but later on starts to get some positive results.
   
5. On off-site, we focus on writing some really good quality contents for AS, PR, Web 2.0, PBNs.
6. Syndication of links are another important part that helps in linking your website URL on other sites.

These are a few steps that I follow. I might have missed some points to add on. And looking forward to gain some valuable responses and suggestions to make my work even better.
