I have sold sites at flippa that are making monies. And I have seen competitors in my niche selling their websites. Not all websites listed at flippa are shitty. However, you will need to do your due diligence or you will get ripped.

I also go to flippa when am looking for the next idea(s).

I haven't been on Flippa in a while. I have sold some sites there in the past. I'm not sure if they plugged this loophole, but basically here's the issue.
If you have one adsense account and you use it on Site A and Site B. Site A is high traffic so it is where you get most of the clicks from and thus your adsense earnings. Now if you use this same adsense account on Site B, which is a smaller site (1 year old blah blah) and you authorize the adsense for earnings verification, it shows you your total adsense earnings as if it was from Site B.

It would be good if someone can check on this, but the last time I sold a site, there were no questions asked.

I don't know if this loophole exists, but if it does your method would be showing earnings that aren't even from the niche.

So buying at flippa would be a bad idea as your seller and many competitors will copy the idea make it better and take a cut from your future profit?

It is better to sell at flippa than buy there....
 
Yes, I have always read go to Flippa to steal ideas, seems like a good gem, very lucky.

This is a great idea, but I see this becoming real interesting when you and 5 other blackhatters all try to rip off the same site.
 
Could you give examples with verified earnings and stats? I checked 20+ websites but I could not find one that is verified by staff. Am I missing something?

Flippa is a gold mine for niches. Seems like every day I see shitty sites that are ranking for good keywords with few backlinks.

Now if only I weren't so fucking lazy...
