Just wondering but if I just grab posts in say french do a google translate and then fix up the errors would anyone notice?

Or if I wanna be lazy I could just rip the posts and articles, translate them and post em up.

Just wondering if anyone thinks this is a good idea.

It would work, I've done it myself.

There is a plugin that takes german news and translates it them posts it to your wordpress blog. these post a grammatically incorrect but if you 'fix them up' it helps create great content.

I translate content for my tier 2 web2's. You will find that French and Italian translate best into English, more so Italian. Other languages, it would be easier to just write an article than go through all the mistakes

I did this with Spanish articles a couple of times, since I know just enough Spanish for it to be feasible. You do end up with a lot of grammatical errors, but result doesn't seem to be much worse than some of the high ranking blogs I've seen. For a slow writer like me, the translate method can sometimes help speed things up.
