Build your site from scratch, buying micro niche sites is not the way to get started with IM.
but it is a way to start without spending a lot of money.....

If you are trying to learn things, then yes, it would be good to get started with mns. You will know how sites are structured and how SEO would help you further. Just ensure you buy sites from someone who knows how to take care of onpage SEO properly.

You can start. I think the future of SEO is quality and not quantity. I have been finding success with longer posts with the new Google algorithms. I have also decided to avoid the micro sites and I am now working on building larger niche websites that I can use with my affiliate marketing. Even with paid advertising, I have found that the larger sites gain more confidence with visitors. Well, I hope my strategy pans out.

As someone who is also looking to jump into the world of SEO, I've found the most important thing is research. Start with the basics to set a good foundation and work from there. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a page to the front of Google by the end of this year.
