Starting my experience with SEO!

Hello BHW family, after being a lurker for some time i decided i want to learn SEO.
I'm learning everyday about seo from sites like backlinko.com and i downloaded some PDF that cover beginner guides to SEO.

So right now i have a brand new domain name + hosting which i dont mind doing some experiments on them, and i would like to create a new blog or whatever site just to play around and try to rank even if it's worthless niche or something that would bring me no revenue at all, so just something that i can earn experience from.

I would like to hear some suggestions from you guys.

Also sorry if this makes no sense, im very new to IM world but im trying to learn as much as i can.

It makes more sense than a lot a newbie posts on here. My advise would be to do things one at a time and not get too greedy or impatient for results

Edit: and do lots of reading on here. This site has much to offer beyond the lounge lol!
