Hello all,

My name is Jimmy, I'm a starting from scratch realtor in need of some affordable local seo help.

Little about myself, I just moved to Michigan from Los Angeles... work in restaurants at night to keep myself afloat.

Before moving to Michigan I had a business in LA with its own google business profile that just got suspended in the transfer over here (for my real estate venture) when I changed the address... btw SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME HERE lol.

I'm not a rich person, I basically have three jobs total always stealing from one part of my life to pay for another... while providing support for my mom and others.

I built my website https://realtyagentsnearme.com on my own to cut cost. Need to get the site optimized one of these days when I have enough money. I have hand created over 100 backlinks. Trying to figure out which citation site I'm going to be usingk to buy citations for the business. I just got my press release ready and good to go just now waiting for my google my business page to be fixed.... annnnnd lastly was thinking about link building through telegra.ph posting (basically creating a telegra.ph post where I put all my backlinks at and the mass creating a bulk backlinks for the .post that will again have all my backlinks along with home website pages).

Again any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.... and thank y'all for reading this far for me.

Thank you,
Jimmy Z

Hey Jimmy firstly welcome to Blackhatworld,

Though break with the google business profile getting suspended, that’s a bummer. for that, you might need to appeal google decision or set up a new profile with accurate michigan details.

On a tight budget, SEO can feel like a mountain, but you're on the right track. Your DIY website is a good start. Keep those backlinks quality over quantity, though! For local seo, definitely focus on google my business once it's fixed, as it’s key for local searches. for citations, scout for free listing sites at first. many offer a basic listing without a fee. you press release idea sounds solid distribute it widely once you're all set. about the telegra.ph strategy it's creative, but be careful. mass link-building like that can sometimes backfire if google sees it as spammy.overall, keep pushing with local seo tactics, engage with your community both online and offline, and maybe start a blog on your site sharing your real estate journey in michigan. It could attract local interest.

P.S. Maybe reach out to some local SEO agencies and explain your situation. Some might offer discounted rates or payment plans for small businesses starting up and for this you can use BHW put your thread at Want to Buy or Hire a freelancer while mentioning all your requirements

I tried to give an answer hope its helps

Thanks!

Welcome to BHW
thank you... appreciate your kindness

Man, seo for a realtor is tough. Your GBP has to compete with the big companies. Really, what I'd recommend is CTR, honestly.

For the directory site, most directories aren't very well optimized for local SEO so you'll have a play there.

You say you did over 100 links. What kind of links and where did you point them?

Glad To Have You Here, Welcome To BHW Forum.

Got the backlinks from a seo aim point article that had a list... with all backlinks pointing back to my site

There are a few things you need to do:

1) Social Media - get active in local FB groups, build out an IG account with pics and such from listings. Start an account with X and post in there RE trends or something on a regular basis. Get active on Next Door and any other local sites you can dig up.

Pro tip - name the accounts {Region}City Name Real Estate if possible.

2) Build out pages on your site for specific listings. i.e. Mr and Mrs Jones are selling a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in City Name, in Neighborhood Name.

Name your page, 3 bd 2 bath in Neighborhood Name for sale. Then send your SEO links to those specific pages and not your home page. In general, that should not be too wearing on you to get that ranked.

Post those pages you create on your SM sites as well to generate traffic and ALWAYS, if possible, make your shares on FB so they can be shared outside of the group.

If you need to create the post and have the post link to your FB page where you have that listing shared then you should get some interested traffic.
