Starting dropshipping journey (shopify + aliex. + FB + Insta)

So im starting my dropshipping journey with aliexpress, after lurking around for some time and collecting the budget, i can finally say im basically ready to start. Website is ready, around 300 products - clothing niche - and currently waiting for Paymill to get accepted.

Zero expreience with facebook/instagram ads, zero experience with marketing or with SEO, but have collected some information from here and there over the time and willing to put in the work.

-Using fiverr for some basic/low cost on/off site SEO
-Constantly learning about FB ads and trying it out myself, there is no point of buying/paying for this service on fiverr etc because the ads are the most important thing imo and its essential to learn it yourself for a successfull and long term business.


Start:
Shopify + Oberlo + Paymill
Starting with Shopify free Venture theme.
Budget 3000 €

Marketing:

Basic/low cost on/off site SEO
Facebook ads
Instagram ads?
Instagram shoutouts
Personal Youtube account, 4 million views within 18 months


Plan:
Not to buy any facebook likes, rather paying first for cpm ads to get some legit likes from around the world - then change the ads plan and focus on US and EU market (as mentioned before, im new on ads in any form so still learning the steps)
Will use Instagram shoutouts and apps like Instagress for marketing, still not sure about the insta ads.
Not planning to get rich quick scheme obviously, but trying to make some profit and sell the store after i have created 50-100k revenue to start again with better experience and understanding.

Any help/recommendations are all welcome. Im fully aware that the budget is small, but as i have read from here, people have started with 300$ and have had great success.. Im trying to update the thread constantly (every week) and most probably will need some advice from time to time..

I know there are alot of people like me here and there are alot of unsuccessfull stories around aswell, so if someone could point a few failed campaigns out, ill would be very grateful - so if you are interested how i will do with zero experience, heads up and follow the thread

Hey OP. I started my shopify up a few weeks ago and are having trouble not getting much in return from my facebook ads. Can I add you on another platform or something so we can have a chat?

So running into first issues today, Paymill sent me an email that they need 1.Supplier Agreement 2.Invoice for purchased goods - as i clearly stated to them that i will dropship and buy the goods when the customer will order from me, but they keep sending the same email back - since i dont have the goods i need either create or fake those papers.. so maybe any advice who is doing this kind of work or maybe i can order these papers from someone?

Which country are you from?
Go with Stripe if they support your country...
PS: I am also in the same game as you, and straying off and learning things...

I would recommend you to start with Instagram influencer basically because they are cheap and give you a better return ( at least for me ) . At the same time your facebook pixel will slowly warm up. Then it's easier for you to go back to Facebook and create LLA ( look alike audience) campaign.
