Hello, sorry if this gets a bit longer but I think it's important to describe my idea.

I'm about to start focusing on B2B Sales with the 1 special product I'm currently selling in Slovakia. I have a great relationship in China with one guy so delivery and shipping is no problem when going bulk..

I want to start focusing more on B2B and not on B2C. I think it has a bigger potential for me. My product is great for e-shops and local shops with electro things like laptops, computers, mobiles, tv and so on... It's really suitable to any local store with that interest and online store as well.

I want to outreach to these business owners and make some deal with them that I will give them wholesale rates for bulk orders of my product, they will be able to get a printed logo as well..

So I'm getting this product for around 6 dollars and currently, I'm selling it to the customers for 39 dollars which is great price for that product still because it adds value.
So let's say I woud gave them rate like 15 dollars for bulk orders.

What do you think about it? How would you price this? How would you start outreaching to the businesses? Any experience with B2B Sales?

Please kindly share some knowledge, I would really appreciate it a lot!

Thank you :)

What's a bulk order?

Got any literature?

When can you get the product?

Do you have one to view?

How are you doing payments?

Can stock be returned?

Do you have point of sale marketing?

How is the packaging?

Is it to be displayed? Are you providing that?

Some of the things you need answers to and for. If you want them to resale it you need to provide most of the above.

Don't forget you need to rebrand and pack what ever your importing if you have not done already other wise they can just cut you out and buy direct..

That's actually a really good point. However, they are already under my brand and they won't know I'm getting them from my supplier so that's okey. They are well packed so there won't be needed much work with it. I guess I will be ordering them without my brand, or in a way my client will want them to be.

Yes I'm providing everything, I'm normally selling them, I have PPC on Google but people don't buy this product much on the internet through Google so that's a reason I want to start doing B2B.

Interesting topic,

I've been dealing with a lot of B2B portals but from customer side.
However, as being IT guy, I always wondered about the other end of it.

Will follow this thread and give more input later.
Cheers!

We do a fair bit of B2B its literature, visiting and speaking to them. I visit to speak to the owners if we can't do that first it's a hand written envelope with everything inside and then a follow up.

The questions I listed is what we get asked or you can expect to be asked.

Making sure it stands out is key - our product is different so we don't have to worry about that. But if its for them to resale depending on what it is you need to think about that..

It's also easier to rank for product wholesale, product b2b, product trade account as well which will get you found compared to B2C SEO...

Selling for 15 when they can mark up to 39 is a bit low, at least 20, thats still a huge mark up for the retailer.
Start higher and then offer bulk volume discounts where you end up at a low of 20.

Also since this is B2B you will want to offer terms. Which means youll need a factoring facility. I can look into that, I have them for USA, not sure if mine will do abroad but I can find some im sure.
First pitch the standard price, then the bulk volume, then more volume for terms ie pay in 30 days etc. Thats where the factoring facility will come in and advance you the cash upfront.

Make a plan for how you anticipate to handle a large swell in orders as well. Lets say you can purchase 1,000 units, but now youre popular and you have an order for 5,000, you dont have the cash yet though to fulfill that order, so now you need to have a Purchase Order finance in place and ready to go (and make sure you qualify for it, or build yourself up to do so)

Ill post any other thoughts I get soon im tired ha good luck man

B2B is easy as long as you enjoy being a people person, search around for potential businesses that you think might be interested in your product.

Then just start making calls and sending cold emails like it was your last day on earth, lastly buy a bottle of wine or whisky and meet with those who answered your calls.

Between 2003 and 2005, Texaco and My fathers company extracted over

which the Exxon Valdez company gets.

Texaco also systematically made a profit of billions of U.S Dollars
after making their sales. Texaco conducted a limited cleanup through
an agreement with the Ecuadorian government, though its effectiveness
is being challenged. Meanwhile, several medical studies relate the
devastating health impacts which caused widespread pollution due to
the oil exploration and extraction on the communities living near the
areas operated by Texaco. But they have compensated them duly.
