Starting a Podcast - Things You Should Know

This is actually a question topic - I am thinking of starting a podcast that I plan to monetize.

Main questions that I am thinking about:
What is the right way to start?
Should I register on all the possible platforms?
Is it normal to have podcast accounts or should you stick with one platform?
Does it affect monetization?
How to monetize podcasts the best way?
Any other suggestions?
