Starting a cryptocurrency

99% of the work in creating a new crypto is community building

You need a strong community and invest tons in it to be able to break through (giveaways, bounties, airdrops and so forth.
That’s really what I have. Plus are a little bit paranoid and they don’t trust the government or banks.

Plus I have contacts to TV and print media

Good dev can easily cost you $10k per month and still might take up to 1 year to get a decent product live.

If you want to fork something like Dex token then things can go live much faster.

With memecoin, competiton is insane since it is so easy to just copy paste contract and change name of your token. But then such token mostly has no utility so price drop fast.

Creating a new crypto is very easy to do (literally 5 minutes if you move slowly). The hard part is getting people to use it and dealing with the influx of scammers wanting to "help" you, and also all the FUD. Building a good team is an absolute MUST, but finding good team members is the challenge. Most will want to scam you or take advantage.

Agree, hard to find team members you can trust.

Once you are part of a kick ass team, then next level is build a loyal community.

If you have a big social media following it can usually be pretty easy to get people to get involved

Well then all you need now is to hype it up, launch a ERC token on Avalanche or some modern low fee platform, and roll with it.

Launching your coin on Avalanche will cost you 1/1000 of Ethereum and it's like 100x faster.

Creating your own coin is easy as hell.

The marketing part is the hardest one.

You need to keep feeding those YouTube influencers.. press release.. guestpost from coindesk.. Twitter.. going to conference.. etc
All of this will cost you millions of capital with lower % to success.

The competition in this industry is stiff.

Its not that easy !
You need a years to make it growup and make it wothy
Its needs a hard time and hard work
But good luck and a hard work to succes

It's easy getting people involved regardless of the size of your following. The problem, as I said in my previous post, is finding GOOD people who actually do GENUINELY want to help. It's easy to filter out the obvious fuckers. You'll start to detect warning signs / red flags, immediately. It's the ones who are a bit more cunning, who are far more difficult to spot. Eventually, you may find yourself at the point to where you're just like, "fuck everybody! Everyone is a damned scammer!"

When you reach this point, just take a step back, and remind yourself that there are good people in this world. You've got to really try hard to remember this. Your inbox will fill, day in, and day out, with people wanting to "help", and usually with a price tag associated with it, or some other motive behind it, such as being an admin or ...something.

Finding actual quality people who really want to help, and with no strings attached, aside from a genuine interest in your project, is like finding hay in a needle stack in a room with 10x the Earth's gravity, while hopping on one leg, all while trying to win an ass-kicking contest.

...IT'S EFFING HARD.

1. Go to etherscan
2. Find safemoon
3. Copy the source code
3. Go to remix
4. Login with your wallet
5. Paste the source code
6. Change the name and to "Super safe moon shiba Inu doge" and ticker to whatever you want
7. Deploy contract
8. ??????
9. Profit
Tried and true method !

Inb4 lawsuit :D

Why reinvent the wheel when their contract just works? Almost any new project coming out is a "fork" (blatant 1:1 copy) of safemoon's contract. The lawsuit wasn't related to contract itself, rather the devs pulling the LP in large amounts. As long as you don't touch the LP (or make your identity public), you're fine.

People who say it's hard or expensive have never opened a code editor before so they won't be in a position to understand how to edit available code.

There i was thinking you were trolling

You can make a coin easily but the problem is in making it popular which takes lot of funds.

if you don't have any revolutionary concept with the cryptocurrency, my suggestion is make project in existing blockchain can be games, app etc. except your purpose is making another shit scammy project.

btw making new token is like 5 min, i have posted thread once here guide on how to make new token, except what yoou mean is making your own blockchain network, than it's another 5min copy paste from gitfhub but the question do you have enough people to promote the project, find miner/noode too dedicate their resource in decentralize your project.

If you want to create some shit coin, you can just deploy the contract via a form using ONE as level 1. Or someone can do it for you for $5.00.

I would not even think of a full fledged ICO without a solid 1155 combined 20/721/semifunge dev to demo your tokenized utility swaps up front. Any test chain will do.

Work on or pay for that first. It will teach you a lot about the multiple things that can go wrong before people trust you to provide your own stable or possibly profitable 20 series token.

Just working on such a project will clue you in to things that might cost/save your ass.

If you just want to use your influence...
go find a shitcoin/monkey project to shill for. Less work and risk for the money.

Remember, as a founder of a coin you are at the very minimum a sweat investor. That should be taken seriously for an ICO.

You can copy a contract and slap it up for basically nothing, but the last ICO run was... a while ago.

There are so many, you need to research and see how the market right now, all the best.
