Started a new prank YT channel - taking down ideas for the first prank

So guys i just started my prank channel and i am going to be uploading prank compilations and also original pranks and also if people send me pranks i would post them when i have gotten bigger but atleast for now i am going to start filming pranks and i need good ideas for pranks from you guys
i am willing to look at doing pretty much anything i am pretty good at acting and can go in any social situation basicly i have acted in a couple of tv series and have been wanting to make a prank channel for way to long and decided to make Icepranks on yt a few days ago.

i am a fairly big and fairly much tattooed and these days i have a massive beard haha
so i have been thinking i could go into so many roles of pranking, the massive beard, tattoos, big size of a body, gives me a huge chance to do all kinds of pranks haha and be believable

Don't bother attempting to do real pranks, they'll be underwhelming and won't bring in as much of an audience. Ask some friends if they'd be willing to react for you in the video. Helps a lot if you have hot female friends, chuck them in the thumbnail and your views will go up 10-fold. The YouTube community has been recently getting very scrutinising about pranks, so make sure they're not over the top, while still being genuinely entertaining. I also can't stress enough how important good production quality is, no one wants to watch a grainy, shakey video with windy or distorted audio. It seems that the majority of the larger prank channels have a certain theme that every video sings to, for example the Jalas who do those stupid middle-east bomb "pranks", LimitlessEXP who approaches girls in vegas etc. Here's a few ideas I can think off the top of my head:

- Acts of generosity to the poor/homeless (bonus points if they've got a good backstory - exploitative, I know)
- Approaching hot girls with viewer submitted pickup lines
- Topical issues - the whole clown phase seems to have died down a lot, but be on the lookout for potentially new viral themes

Promotion is another huge step for new YouTubers, so I'd try and reach out to as many semi-popular channels and try do a collab with them. Alternatively, you could apply some other traffic generation techniques found throughout the forum.

Prank your future self by wasting your own life. People always like it when you know how to make fun of yourself.

Congrats on your new channel, I had a thought of starting yt prank channel, now i got a dev role in a mnc and i don't have time for that. This is what i planned to do.

Bomb prank, bait bicycle/phone/car/wallet prank (with electric shock/firecracker controlled by rc remote) . These are fuc*ing funny and gets you tons of subscribers if you start with a catchy channel name. Once you get famous you can sell the RC remotes and things you use in your videos to your viewers, because they also want to do the same pranks on others.

One thing, don't talk much in the start of the video, like what you are going to do in this prank, because people will get bored and run away, actions speak itself.

Put a cracker on toilet seat and a speaker in toilet and run audio of missile launched.

Or you can do only put speaker in toilet and run audio of missile launched when they just entered on toilet.

fake pranks get the most views, so look in to that

When you come up with something original (and good quality) that you feel has serious viral potential pm me and I'll share it. I'm always looking to break stuff first and I can definitely help you get your first couple thousand legit (actual people) views.

Ya guys i had an idea of going "shopping" and just be reaching into other peoples charts and taking their shit and be like oh nice some oreo's or w.e and just grab it from their baskets, i think it might get some reactions, i would have someone to film it and then i would put a phone in my pocket and record the sound i guess

"Unseen situations" ( u can name videos parallel universe for example)

Laugh (and attention too) is triggered when we see something unimaginable happening. Situation is unique, and our brain is trained to react on unique with attention (for example we always remember exceptions, and inconsistencies , never common expected things, because common can be predicted and calculated, that way brain saves storage space).

What would be unseen situation? Take for example standard behavior of people, men are approaching women. Film a videos where women are approaching men, like hitting on them. In RL that never happens, and it would fun for :
1)audience
2)actors involved
Men would have absolutely no idea how to react and what to do, audience cannot predict it too, and BAM u have attention grab just like that.

Another example - beggar that gives money instead asking for it! WTF ! U can pretend to be a beggar and start giving people a buck each.
