I'm about to do some restructuring as well, add internal links to new posts from the old ones. Could you tell me a little more about what you changed? I saw that you added like 60 internal links on the 9th.. is that to or from your pillar article? Or both?

Total of my article in my website are 87, and the pillar article are only 2, so i can send total 85 link to those 2 pillar
what i change is homepage, and navigation, i put the link of my pillar content on both navigation and homepage

No...all of my article are relevant, so i can link all of my post to my pillar content..
except 1, i have 1 article that is not correlated with the niche only for testing

I only have 1 pillar article at the moment, but I'm doing research to add another. Would you recommend prioritizing low competition or high traffic? I have my eye on a great keyword with a lot of traffic/ value, but a lot of authority niche sites already rank for it. I'm thinking that I maybe I could target that keyword but include a bunch of LSI keywords to get an edge.

If i were you, before i target high competition keyword, i should create 100 supporting low competition article to support the pillar...
And those 100 article at least half of them are in page 1,
But it depend on competition, if it is not that hard, you can use 60 supporting article, like mine

I think It is depend on your targetted keyword, as long as it has low competiton, you can rank fast...
.
Most of my article are low competition,
.
I also target my main keyword that has Keyword difficulty score 80, and it still rank at rank #33, even after i give 44 internal link to the post..
.
It takes time because my competitors are really authoritative.
But, in indonesia, it is quite easy to find low competition keywords

today, i got 12 of my article rising to rank #1 on google, now total rank #1 article is 33 articles, it is quite decent, but the traffic is affected by corona virus, and less people dealing with government..
