Is quite good for indonesian rate...
Average ctr is 3-4%, and the cpc is about Rp. 700, the CPM is about $1,5 to $2,

My target is 10% ctr or 6-7% minimum, but maybe i will wait little bit longer...untill the traffic is enough

I rank 37 of my article on Rank #1 on google, but my traffic is decreasing due to coronavirus, so it seems that less people dealing with government and prefer to stay at home until the epidemic ended.

All i can do is keep writing more content during this lock down, i hope by the end of April i can have 200 articles on my website, and by May i have 300. which i hope 200 of them are rank #1, then i can continue on another project.

My article that rank #1 now are 41 articles, but the traffic seems decreasing.. but i have to finish this,, and i hope when the crisis is recover, i can rank 200 of my article and gain at least 200.000 pv/month on this site.

the trend of my niche are decreasing to 50%, but i keep on writing articles then the traffic is steady still, alhamdulilah,

ahh... it's finally my website hit 3 months old

I did't get my goal to drive 3k-4k/day traffic, but i'm happy with what i get last last month..

My goal for April is Getting 4k PV/day at the end of April, and create 50-80 more articles, so at the end of april i own 200 articles on my website..

When you link all of your supporting articles to your pillar.. what are you doing for anchor text? I assume you're just switching it up throughout each post and including some keywords? How often to you use the exact match keyword as anchor to your pillar?

ahh.. it's been a long time not update my progress

i'm busy this week so i dont post article more than a week. what a shame... even though i dont touch my website, it seems that i brings traffic everyday and money,, cachingg.... LOL

Alhamdulilah,

the traffic is steady at 2,5K PV/day,
it feels good to have passive income,

ah, it's been a long time not updating my journal here..

yesterday i hit my first 3400 pv/day, it is quite good, my traffic is still growing, and i love it, and more articles rank #1 on google.

the problem is the amount of article that i must post, i should post 3 articles per day, but the reality i just create 1 article per day on average,

yesterday i start delegate article writing to writers, so i can focus on other thing like research and data gathering, i hope that i can hit my goal that i post on the top of this journal, especialy the traffic goal

This is my journal on starting a non-English government niche website,
I start my website on 28 December 2019, to start i target low competition keyword, so that i can rank faster. i'm not gonna target keyword that is hard to rank.

I use fresh domain, and by 22 January 2020 i have written 30 articles average words per article are about 900 to 1000 words

i make a checklist to make sure that all my articles can rank faster, and can rank for multiple querry. my checklikst are
- Article must answer search querry (user intent)
- Semantic search optimation
- embed at least one video
- Unique, different, rather clickbait Tittle
- make sure that i get green on my Yoast
-Simple URL
-Put at least one internal link that is little bit clickbait, so visitor can read more post


And my target is creating 500 articles on my website, and get 300.000 PV next June 2020

update, 22 January
it's been 3 weeks since i start... i see some trickles on my website, today most of my articles now rank on page 2.
today i get 65 UV and 96 pv,

and from 30 articles i get 1000 querry on my google search console, and average position of those 1000 query is rank #18

i am not monetizing it yet, maybe i will start to monetize after i get like 1k or 2k pv per day
