Starcraft II Withdrawals

I haven't decided when I'm getting SC2. I never actually finished the original campaigns for SC2. I think I finished the original campaigns for WC3 FT. Generally, I start campaigns in normal or easy because "hey, start at the beginning." Then the campaigns are far too easy and I get bored.

I started playing Blizzard games with Diablo and Starcraft. The first game I purchased myself was the Diablo 2 expansion. Since then, I've bought every game released for PC. I bought all of them except WoW within a week (I originally objected to paying to play).

When I play good games, especially competitive games, I can get over involved and play to much. I'm waiting for a more convenient time to buy the game for that reason. I could probably get into competitive gaming if competitive gaming wasn't horrible. Why do I play competitive games so competitively when they become evil experiences? See - problem, lol.

I'm excited about when I do play SC2, and I may commit to only playing the campaigns or playing it on weekends or in free for all. I tend not to be as competitive with FFA because in my opinion, it's less dependent on skill. You'd think more, but it really just gives you opportunities to lose due to uncontrollable situations. I loved losing in WC3 then hiding my tree.

The SC2 campaign is pretty interesting because there's generally a few mission objectives instead of "kill every enemy building on the map".

Don't forget to blow up the science facility in the bottom right corner of the map on the Media Blitz mission to get the secret mission unlocked.
