SSL for movie streaming site

Hello,
I want to add a SSL certificate for my streaming site for more protection, but i've never saw one famous streaming site using it. Any idea why is that or if it's bad to have for a piracy site?

use SSL https://letsencrypt.org/, for free, pretty good expire every 90 days so keep track, and Cloudflare is a must.

Don't try to copy your competition, try to be better. SSL is better.

Also, the biggest piracy site I know uses SSL.
