@metropolitanBase The srsltid= parameter is nothing new, around https://searchengineland.com/auto-tagging-added-to-google-merchant-center-free-listings-379590 last year Google started adding this parameter when a user clicks on a product within shopping listings within Google Merchant.

Thank you so much for the info. While I was researching earlier today, most sources said that it did not affect SEO negatively. I have read the blog posts that you have added and I am still not sure. What would you suggest? Just letting it be or disabling auto tagging and adding canonicals
