Hello, in our shopify ecommerce store with hundreds of products, our rankings are suddenly full of SRSLTID parameters. Even our homepage result has this parameters.

This came up today, should I be worried?

@metropolitanBase The srsltid= parameter is nothing new, around February 2022 last year Google started adding this parameter when a user clicks on a product within shopping listings within Google Merchant.

Yes, SRSLTID parameters are likely session-related tracking parameters—check your canonical tags, block them in Google Search Console, and monitor for indexing issues.

Thank you so much for the info. While I was researching earlier today, most sources said that it did not affect SEO negatively. I have read the blog posts that you have added and I am still not sure. What would you suggest? Just letting it be or disabling auto tagging and adding canonicals

You might want to check your Google Search Console and set URL parameters properly or use canonical tags to avoid duplicate content issues.

Set the canonical tags independently of your case,
It's a good way to prevent any similar confusion, whatever the parameters/urls,
Shopify has plenty of these as part of their system, which often causes the problem
