Spreading Myself Thin to Get to $10k/Month

Update
Although I didn't get as much done today as I would have liked, I still got a significant amount done.

2. Ecommerce Product:
Wrote one article: 1,031 words. This was a super hard article to write because there was basically nothing to say about it, but I did manage to push it past 1k words.
Made a really good sample of the product that I'm going to use to take product photos within the next few days for the site.

3. Digital Product:
Got the PBN Setup and Uploaded / Scheduled 6 Articles that I had ordered for it.
- Made the logo, setup SSL, setup the theme, etc.
Ordered 5 money-site articles (1.5k words each)
Got a few of the products from one of my friends who makes them
Received my first fiverr order
Outlined another 5 articles to order, with good KWs, for when I get the first 5 back.

4. Affiliate / Authority Site:
Wrote a fairly long (for me) article for the site. Included a bunch of my own photos, and the word count ended up coming to 2,006.

Overall, today wasn't super productive, mainly because setting up the PBN and going to the gym took up a lot of my time. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better. Tomorrow I want to mainly work on coding the New SaaS product, as well as get the Digital Product completely setup.

Hey good luck . How much time did it took you develop your Saas product which brings 3-4 k?
Is Saas is same thing called IT solution ?
SaaS Means software as a service. Literally any software that you charge monthly for counts as SaaS. Also, I started it in August 2017.

I found it quite easy and I don't qualify myself as overly intelligent. Speak for yourself mate

I'm actually speaking for the majority, most won't make it. That's a fact. You are the exception, so in fact you're speaking for yourself.

I am quite impressed - most people have excuses, but not you! God speed to you and your endeavors.

Update

The day isn't over, but I'm really tired so I'm going to make this update now and I may or may not get anything else done tonight. I got a fair amount done today, but again not exactly as much as I would've liked.

2. Ecommerce Product
This is the project on which I made the most progress.
- Took and edited all the product photos. This is a hobby of mine and I did a really great job with them. Good product photos are vital to a successful ecommerce venture. Even if you're buying wholesale from a manufacturer, never use their photos. Always take your own and give the product some life.
- Edited an article that I had ordered for the site and posted the one that I wrote yesterday with some good pictures.
- Ordered a 1k word article to use for the product description
- Finished the design and layout of the site. It is now very flushed out, it has a consistent feel, and a ton of great visuals and pictures. It's ready to begin selling.
- Posted one of my product photos on Reddit to gauge what others think.
- I also did a ton of research into pricing strategies, and I'm going to test a few different ones to see which results in the highest conversion rate. If anyone wants I can send them the link to the article I found which was super helpful.

3. Digital Product
I made some headway, but this one was really a pain to get going.
- Found a way to sell the product in such a way that it is easy to search and is an intuitive buying experience. This took forever, but I finally settled on a custom implementation of the Woocommerce Product Tables plugin.
- Got the first run of products finalized and began uploading on the site.
- Tonight, I'm probably going to work more on this site. Before I go to sleep I'd like to get a logo for it and at least get the basic functionality and design done.

4. Authority Site
- Edited and scheduled 2 outsourced articles for the PBN site. That site now has 7 articles in total.
- Ordered a cornerstone blog post from one of my preferred content writers for the main site. Should be here in a week or so.

7. Service Business
Although I'm not yet ready to actually start selling this service, I do want to get it going so that it has some authority when I start. I'm currently deciding whether or not I want to stick with the domain that I have chosen. I'm not very happy with it because it's both not a great brand name, and its a fresh domain. I do have an expired domain that might actually work really good with it, but first I need to make sure that it isn't penalized.
- Edited 2 outsourced articles for publication once the site is up
- Identified a lot more articles and kws to target, will probably order some of them tomorrow.

Notes
I've been trying a lot of different content writers. I have one that I use for my money-site content that is $10/1000 words. He seems to do very good research and his articles are written pretty well overall. They require little to no editing.
Today, though, I got my first run of articles back from a guy who does $4/1000 words, and they were shockingly good. They weren't spun as far as I can tell, which in itself is shocking. They clearly weren't native speakers, in fact I'm certain they were from India because one of the list articles I ordered kept bringing up Bollywood and Indian companies. Overall, though, they were really good. I only spent about 5-10 minutes editing each, and they were fit for some of my money sites. Although I don't plan to use this service for my authority sites, I'm definitely going to use them to pump out some content on my "2 More SaaS Sites." Also, I'll definitely be using them for my PBNs because at this writing level, I won't even have to edit them in order for them to be suitable for a PBN.

I can help you with digital products as I have huge web development experience and some good designers.

I like the details plan. I hope you can manage all. Keep us update with this great journey.

You're really spreading yourself too thin there, mate! I run some products myself and can tell you shouldn't focus on too many things... focus on one - build it - launch it - tweak it till it becomes profitable...

Anyways good luck with your endeavor and wish you great success :)

UPDATE

I did a significant amount of work, but this past day everything seemed to be taking much longer than it should. Anyway, here's a recap:

2. Ecommerce Product
Didn't do much for the actual site, but I started a short run of ads to start refining my targeting.
First run - $13 ad spend
- 31,742 Impressions
- 20 Clicks
- 0 Conversions
Not great so far, but I'm sure as I further refine it the results will get better. Pausing ads for now.

3. Digital Product
- Received a ton of new products from my friend
- Made the logo
- Got the site design finalized
- All current products uploaded / purchasable
- SILO structure laid out
- Had to fix an issue with products not properly showing up on safari
- Edited / Scheduled two more posts on the PBN. I was disappointed to see the quality of these articles, relative to the others from the same seller.

4. Authority Site
- Had to fix an issue where the site was requesting non-https urls, which was causing the site to be non-https (mixed content)
- Received, edited, and scheduled 3 articles
---- 2x1k words, 1x3k words with the option to turn it into an eBook chapter
- Ordered a diverse link package for the homepage, mostly socials, generics, branded, and naked. Just trying to get the domain established and well-indexed
---- Going to start with niche edits to inner pages in a few weeks

6. 2 More SaaS Sites
- Reskinned the entire product for the new site
- Totally ported the codebase to the new site and got it ready to start selling
---- Doesn't sound like much but took over 5 hours
- Got the site setup with my membership plugin
- Ordered 7 articles, one for each function of the project. Going to make good inner pages.

Starting later today, I'm going on holiday, so I won't have much time to work. Mostly just a bit at nights. I'm going to continue ordering and editing / uploading content in the meantime. To make up for it, though, when I get back I'll have a full week with 0 outside responsibilities, so during that time I'll hopefully more than make up for it. My goal is to have an MVP for the New SaaS site by March 22.

Following. Very ambitious, but doable.
What language / framework do you use to develop Saas?

Update
As anticipated, I got basically nothing done yesterday, and that's likely to be the case tonight and for the next week or so too. With that said, there was a little progress.

1. New SaaS Project
Spent about 4 hours designing and coding the permission and role system. This was a large part of the project that I've been procrastinating for a while.

2. Ecommerce Product
Edited 1 PBN blog post. Also, started getting the site setup. Still need to make a logo and such for it, but it's a PBN so that doesn't matter as much.

7. Service Business
Edited one PBN blog post.

Notes
The quality of articles for the $4/1000 service has decreased dramatically. I wonder if they spend more time on first orders and then really start dishing out the horrible articles once you make a few orders.

Following. Very ambitious, but doable.
What language / framework do you use to develop Saas?
I make my apps with JS / PHP / MySQL

Update

Going to be a short one again. Still on holiday, so not able to do much work. With that said, I did get a very little bit done.

4. Authority Site
Ordered 5x2k word articles
Ordered 1x4k word article

6. 2 More Saas Sites
Received 5 $4/1000 word articles. The quality on these has really gone to shit. I think basically all this service is good for is generating product lists and PBN posts, if you really don't care about your PBN looking legit. It's clear they didn't even google the topic this time. It's very likely that the content was spun as well. Would not recommend the service anymore. These aren't even salvageable with editing, so I'm just going to keep them in case I want them for a PBN in the future.

Notes
With everything happening around coronavirus, it's likely that I might have a lot more free time on my hands than I first imagined. Only time will tell. I still am aiming to have the MVP of the New SaaS service done by the 22nd of March. I think it's definitely doable with a little bit of grinding. I think tomorrow morning I'll also order some more content for #s 6 & 4. I'm still waiting on content for #s 3 and 2 after which I'll start going over my content plan for those two to start getting more words out. Also, I installed word counters on all of my content-driven sites, which I will begin including at the bottom of updates. Also, I think I'm going to use spp for my service business, so if anyone has worked with them and can share their experience that'd be awesome.

Word Counts:

2. Ecommerce Product
Money Site: 2,856
PBN: 1,024 (None published yet)

3. Digital Product
PBN: 5,526
Money Site: 0

4. Authority Site
Money Site: 10,979
PBN: 5,248

7. Service Business
Money Site: 2,342 (None published yet)
PBN: 1,002 (None published yet)

Pretty big plan you got here. Definitely looking forward as you progress with this. All the best. Goodluck!

Update
Still on vacation, got some editing / ordering done though.

2. Ecommerce Product
- Edited / Published Product Description. Once I return this site is ready to begin selling now.

4. Authority Site
- Edited / Published 3k Word Article
- Ordered 9k words (split b/w 4 "top 10"-style articles)

6. 2 More SaaS Sites
- Ordered higher-quality version of one of the bad articles I received a few days ago

Update
It has been a few days but, like I said, I was on vacation. A lot has happened, though. First, my school shut down for the semester due to coronavirus. This is great news for me because it means that now I have way more time to work on this journey. With that said, though, I had to spend all day today and yesterday moving back. Today, I had to spend about 9 hours setting up my computer and server at home. I also installed a new hard drive and had to reinstall windows and all my drivers etc. Whatever, now its finished. Anyways, heres the update:

Non-Tracked Projects Update:
- My dad is starting a new project that is a combination of Affiliate / YouTube / TikTok / Course / Potentially eBook. It's a big project, but he's already validated the idea. He's had a TikTok for about 2 weeks and has already had 2 videos with over 150k views each. He doesn't even have a profile picture or anything. I'm going to be helping him with the technical side of this, and he's going to produce the majority of the content. I'm not going to include this in the journey, but if anything interesting happens I'll let you all know.
- Coded / pushed an update to the main SaaS that I've been putting off for a while now.
- Received a report for a link building pack for my main SaaS that seems to actually be helping rankings a bit already.
- If my math is right, I should have 13 articles coming within the next day or two. I'm going to be real busy, but I'm excited to get back on the grind.

4. Affiliate / Authority Site
- Worked on internal link building in a few of the published articles.

6. 2 More SaaS Sites
- I believe I said this in a previous update, but I'm only working on one of these for the time being.
- Began designing the site
-- Got a great theme
-- Spent a good while designing the color palette
-- Took a bunch of screenshots and created a lot of media for the site
-- Got a basic silo structure laid out
-- Started getting the basic functionality of the site buttoned up
-- Wrote some engaging home-page content
- Should have 7 articles coming. They were supposed to be delivered today, but the guy said that they're almost done. Hopefully, he follows through because I really don't want to have to deal with a SL thread.

7. Service Business
- Ordered 3x2k word articles. I'm hoping to at least have the blog portion of the site done by the time that they arrive, but that might be wishful thinking.

Update
Not sure if anyone's still reading this, but it's helping me to keep on top of things, so I'm going to continue it. Today, I focused almost entirely on #6. Also, I was supposed to get around 13 articles the day before yesterday, and they're still not here. I'm not too happy with the TAT of the writers I'm using atm.

4. Authority / Affiliate Site
- Ordered 1x2k Word Article
-- I'm testing a new type of article that I think could work really well. I have talked with my writer and they think that they can handle it.
- Ordered 2x2k Word Articles
-- This is with a new, slightly cheaper writer. It's about 15% less than my main writer, so if they do good work I'll be transitioning some of my writing to them.

6. 2/1 More SaaS Site
- Finished coding, designing, and setting up the site. The funnel is now complete, and the site is completely finished. All I need to do now is start churning out content for it. Once I get a blog post or two up, along with some videos, I'll start an ad campaign. Hopefully, that'll be the first sign of profit in this journey.
- Setup, but didn't yet implement two different ideas I had to increase conversion rate. I'm going to try each one (and neither as a control) over a period of 1-3 weeks, and see which has the best results.

You seem focused at what you are doing, though you've spread yourself thin ;);). God speed mate. Will hung around here, sure to pick a nugget or two!

Update
Didn't have a ton of time to work over the past 2 days. Still managed to get a good amount done, although not as much as I would've liked.

3. Digital Product
- Edited / Uploaded 2 Articles to Category Pages. Am going to start sending niche edits to them soon.
- Got 2 category pages completely setup
- Have 3 more 1500-2000 word articles that I have to edit and upload
Total Words: 4,051

4. Authority / Affiliate Site:
- Finally got the 5 articles that should've been here 5 days ago. Edited and uploaded all of them with pictures and internal linking.
- Edited snippets, meta descriptions, tags, and seo optimized all the other articles on the site
- Manually inspected all links on search console so they can start to rank. About half of the old ones were already indexed
- Outlined a ton of new articles that I'm going to order starting tomorrow
- For some reason, both the TAT and quality of the articles from my main supplier went way down with this order. I don't know if they're swamped with orders so sacrificing quality or what, but I'm not thrilled.
Total Words: 24,242 (with a bunch more on the way)

6. 1 More SaaS Site
- Received / Edited Article for one of the main inner pages. Added it to the content from 2 days ago, bringing the total words on that article to 3,179
- Started running ads. Right now CTR is fairly good but conversion rate is abysmal.
