SPOTIFY OCTOBER ISSUE

Hi there !!
We work with people for music promotion on spotify
They place our tracks on spotify well followed playlists
But I guess there are bots listening to theses playlists^^.... BTW from few days all these promoting people said "errh, we have issues, you have to wait a bit"

In the same time live stream counters don't increase anymore even if we can see that xx "people" are currently listening

Is someone experiencing the same issues there ?
Any idea of what's happening ?

I'm thinking to build my own bots to stream carefully...

My bet is that your "promotion" partner is using a BAS (Browser Automation Studio) based bot which don't work for a couple of days / weeks now because the current build of BAS can't handle the spotify web player. Best you can do is change your promition technique since often playlist curators are people with 99% botted playlists.

Take a look into Facebook ads and promote your music that way if you want to get your foot into real promotion. You gain a ton of real fans that will always come back to your music, save your tracks to own playlists and trigger algorithm playlists.

Thank you !! Yess I aggree with you about BAS.
We do also FB / IG / Youtube ADS promotion as well, but it's more expensive :)
Our guys on playlists helped us to get more for less, even if we know it's quite a b***lsh**t
