Spoonfed method for noobs-$0-tons of pics

Hey,
Would this work with SkimLinks or Squidoo combined with Amazon. Since i have no way of becoming an Amazon affiliate. Would it still cookie drop?

Edit: NVM Amazon affiliate works in my state now :)

After writing my previous post, i went onto tumblr, and huzzah! It's fixed, panic over

For some reason i cant find the source link option when i reblog a photo... can someone post a picture showing me where it is... this is so frustrating

I think tumblr has changed now and you cant change the source link or URL when you reblog only on your own original posts.

Does posting Amazon affiliate link (or any other affiliate links for that matter) on tumblr risk getting you account banned from Amazon and Tumblr? (i.e. against one or both's TOS)

I would like to know this as well. I've heard that even putting adsense on your blog will get you banned.

x2. On amazon associates account there's section where you can list your websites (max 5), and I also wonder if we have to list our tumblr accounts there? My plan was to use several tumblr accounts for different niches.

On a side note I setup my account two days ago, and after 64 clicks someone purchased some old pc game for five bucks, so $0.50 were made lol.

Another thing, I was reading an email someone had sent to Amazon on clarifying what is and isn't acceptable, and in their reply they stated that url shorteners could not be used, so personally I'm going to stick with amazon's own url shortener amzn as I don't want to scale up, make more, than have amazon review my account and find something against their TOS.

Thank you Marusia for the method, I recently got an amazon associates account, and have been tumbling for a while, but never thought of putting the two together!

Hi everyone this is my first post.
I tried this method but failed so far. I signed up for amazon affiliates and began posting images with links.
After a day of posting nobody liked or re-blogged my images and despite following 50 people nobody followed me back.
Then at the end amazon sends me this email:

I am sorry, but as of June 1, 2013, we will only be able to approve Facebook.com ?Fan Pages? and/or ?Verified? Twitter.com pages in the Associates program. All other social network sites are not eligible to add Associate links, or for use to create an Associates Account.

Unfortunately, because of this we will not be able to accept your application, your Associates account has been rejected.

I've been trying hard for a week, spending 12 hours a day and haven't had any luck with any method :(

Make a money site for your niche, and have tumblr posts link to it. Traffic -> tumblr -> money site -> Amazon.

You can get a cheap hosting account for a few buck a month + 7 bucks for a domain name.

Thanks for the encouragement phortyone. The failures have been really weighing down on me.
So basically just follow the amazon affiliate blog site method and use tumblr as traffic. That's a good idea.

A simple webhost like hostgator would be alright?

Yep and yep. You can also check out Reinstecker's method in this subforum, and make another money site centered around porn, and sign up with plugrush and crakrevenue. Then have separate tumblr accounts, one for amazon niche site (cannot have explicit material), and the other marked NSFW for the porn money site.

I just registered with Amazon for an associates account, and haven't driven any traffic to it yet, but with the porn+plugrush+crakrevenue idea I'm making around $2.50-3.00 per day.

If you want feel free to add me on skype: treeschool, as it's always nice to bounce ideas off one another.

If you're interested in doing business with CrakRevenue, don't hesitate to hit me up right here or you can always contact our affiliate manager on Skype.

And if you want to work with Tumblr, we did a tutorial on the subject a few weeks ago in our http://crakrevenue.com/blog/monetize-tumblr-traffic/.

so you just put the link of you niche under the picture and this really works?

You can share your posts with facebook and twitter :) Something to consider if you want to build a audience.

Didnt read thread but what is the point of sending hundreds of people to your affiliate product page or amazon when they most likely will not buy anything.

I bet your earning very low if anything from this.

Damn :( Just set up a tumblr today to try this out. Had a great niche picked out. Hopefully amazon still accepts tumblr for affiliates. Rerouting traffic from WEBSITE --> TUMBLR --> AMAZON seems like it would really reduce clickthrough on the end.

I've seen sites that are hosted on Tumblr but use a custom .com domain. Would that fix any issues with accepting a "tumblr" link?
