Spoonfed method for noobs-$0-tons of pics

While researching, I've noticed lots of autoblogs on Tumblr. I've no idea how this guy is doing. He seems to be running some kinda Tumblr bot. He started this on first week of Jan and made 1,500 posts approx. on every blog. :eek2:

If any of you are in the adult/girl niche, YouTube comments could bring easy traffic imo. Use comments along with the YouTube auto thumbs up uBot somewhere in this forum.

Also, halfway through I suddenly have no idea why I'm doing this. There are so many more profitable better methods out there (no offense) but I guess it's always fun to see what pervs buy on Amazon... and making some money while raving about your favorite girl idols is kinda cool too.
 
Well there are plugins that allow you to post to tumblr, so that you can post from your autoblogs to tumblr.

So that is how it is happening.
 
Wow I wish I would have started this already!

Getting 1000 notes is so easy, I have ton's of pictures with over 10,000 notes, and even have one with 200,000 notes in 2 days.. I even been on tumblr radar 3 times.

I used to have 109,000 & 34,000 tumblr followers which I sold for $340. It all about the quality of the post though.

My advice, post pictures from flickr and tag them. Only the first 6 tags count so don't go tagging crazy. I suggest that you follow 200 people a day (follow limit), either from radar, someone who post something from your niche, or someone who gets a lot of notes per day so you follow active people and they follow you back, this way you can easily get over 500 followers a week.

I have a script that I made that follows people who reblogged a post from permalink, if you guys are interested I'll be glad to upload it.

Also I have some good tumblr urls (short/rare) if anyone is interested in trades!
 
This should definitely help the newbs. You've obviously learned a lot in your 3 months of IM. Congrats! :D
 
Added the follow bot as an attachment.

Open config.ini and fill in your email/password, then to run, I run on my server, so to run the url would be:

url/?link=tumbler-permalink

The tumblr permalink is the source of the post, the orginal poster, not the re-blogger.

I am by no means nor do I consider myself great php coder (I'm sure someone could make something way better), but I ran this script to get me 109,000, 38,000, 10,000 (3 times) followers on individuals accounts before tumblr implemented the follow limit.

You can only follow a maximum of 200 accounts per day, and make a maximum of 200 post a day. Since you guys are not concern with following a lot you should receive followers and not lose them for unfollowing. When I had 109,000 I lose about 1,000 when I un-follow them all. There is a follow limit of 2000 though, so once you hit that mark I suggest you imacro un-follow them, only takes a couple of minutes.

Try to find post which are relatively new, so that the people it follows are online/active, I usually ran this on the radar since radar updates daily, and gets tons of reblogs, I assuming y'all will be focused on post from your niche though.

Let the script run once through the page, it will refresh to continue to the next page (when tumblr had no follow limit, a post with 1000 notes would be around 1000 new followers), but don't allow it and just find a new permalink. Just trust me on this part.

After you follow them all and are finish with your own post. I also suggest saxgod's amazing reblog bot (search Tumblr Reblog Bot v0.6), so that you will actively reblog and like people post (tumblr people love getting reblog & liked), hence more followers when you can't follow more..

Also try to have a neat theme, and a good first page of post that people will see on their first impression, having your first page full of crappy post will not help you, just hurt.

I've had a closely related idea for a week or so and decided to checkout BHW to see if anyone had something similar in mind and voila :)

I am not sure how much does tumblr hate spam but I've already spotted couple of blogs (text only) with direct offers and aff links to amazon. I'm sure the blogs are not getting any traffic but they're still live which is strange.

As good as that idea is, i would very much doubt he is getting any traffic to his blog doing that because there are no reblogs on anything so its certain not something that would work that well on tumblr.

As far as i can tell tumblr might say they hate spam but what we are doing doing really look like spam at all, we are posting quality content which just happens to lead through to some nice affiliate links, if we were posting pictures of flashing free iphones then i can sort of understand.

I'm not sure if that is correct, it would be massively hard to make over 200 quality posts with this method a day anyway unless you'd figured out a way to automate it which would obviously reduce the quality.

Something i tried out last night was simply linking through to the amazon homepage rather than directly to a product. I'm curious to see whether the endless options of the homepage might have a bigger influence on convincing people to purchase. I'm up to 200 clicks a night now so hopefully i will start to see some more conversions soon. My conversion currently stands at %0.17 :D

Regarding tags, i was unaware until today that only the first 6 count so choose wisely this also got me thinking, and i will be trying this out with tonights images across my two blogs, pick two niche related tags, the most popular ones and use those, then go to here

Look at the most popular current tags and then pick the 4 of those, this should in theory aid your exposure. If there was a way to see what the most searched for tags on tumblr were that information would be golden as well.
 
Okay what do you think about this, making the theme background clickable to an amazon page? Do you think you will get banned?

Hmm interesting idea, i guess it would make the affiliate marketing more obvious, an alternative would be what i do, i make pages with enticing sounding titles on the menu bar of the blog they all re-direct through my amazon aff link, that seems to work quite well.
 
True I need to dig into the theme mods more. I am trying to send to a best sellers page to see what happens. So far no sales but I have not posted that much. I want to setup that follow script for a while then add more pics. Maybe I can just setup a category on my autoblog that uses WPR to pull flickr images based on keyword and have the linkback on the pics be the amazon link then feed to tumblr.

Sound good in theory. :)
