Are any of you doing this for your local SEO clients and if so, is it effective?

To me, it looks like not enough of a differentiator for it to matter, as it is not visible enough.

Yeah, that’s a sponsored pin. You can tell from the slightly different styling — Google’s been testing these in high-traffic zones. If you’re seeing it on mobile, it’s likely part of a Local Ads campaign (GMB linked with Ads account).

It helped in the f&b industry. In home services not that much.
