Spinning Content Tactic

Hi guys,

This is the process I use for creating content for backlinks. Do you agree with this or do you think all spun content should start off 100% unique?

Step 1 - Head over to ezine articles or another article site and find an article for my niche.

Step 2 - Copy this article and paste onto spinrewriter to create a 99% spun article

Step 3 - Use the spun content and submit to my tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 backlinks.

Does the BHW community agree this is OK to do?

Personally, I think spun content should be unique. If the whole content is automated, the words and ideas may seem not to make any sense. I normally create around 3-4 versions of my original sentence. I try not to repeat the same words to avoid selecting the same synonyms. Then I do the word spin after sentence spinning. I do a couple of spins and see how it reads. If it makes sense, and if the uniqueness is high, then I use the articles. If you think that your articles seem readable and not so suspicious that it's just a spun content, then you can use it. Otherwise, I would suggest you my method.

If my use is just for backlinking, and not organic traffic from the article site, does it really matter it if doesn't make 100% sense? Does Google know this?

Nice questions.

When and if you are doing spun content, you should know that, yes, Google knows that people are creating spun content. Since the beginning of search they have been working to figure out ways to determine what to do with these kind of tactics.

There are a number of factors that will or could influence whether this is successful:
- Readability of the content
- Location where the Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 links are coming from
- Link velocity, which triggers google algorithm thresholds to determine if you site deserves an update
- Authority of the link location
- Uniqueness of content

I guess I could go on, but to get to the heart of the matter, you should consider that Google is probably already creating tools to measure what spam looks like and how it is structured like, therefore, it would be my opinion, that you take a longer term approach and make your spun content more original. The cost for rewrites these days, where individuals and companies guarantee "copyscape" free, are pretty vast, so no shortage of low cost content creation there.

Additionally, high quality spun articles are also available almost anywhere. Check out the BHW Services area or Freelance area, if interested.

The flip side, if you consider your sites throwaway, that they will be live for 1 year and dead the next, then tactics like you describe may work very well.

Finally, as to whether BHW ascribes to such tactics, it will be a mixed bag, but then again, you are on BlackHatWorld.
