Spent $60 made $2.25..

i got similar results, i gues direct linking sucks fro PPV and also i heard that one field submits are not really good for ppv

i spent $30 on directcpv and made like 5 bucks, really sucks when you are starting
i alos think that directcpv provides really bad quality traffic since i have seen instructional videos of guys trying the same thing (PPV-direct link) and acheiving results

I think it's because of the actual offers you have, everybody knows to steer clear of free ipads and dating sites.
 
Try rotating different versions of landing pages and add more targets. PPV requires a lot of testing and tweaking.
 
i use the trixster method and it works for me. the devil is in the details track everything and cut the fat as soon as possible. You don't have to be profitable in the testing.

What is a trixster method?
 
It's a method used by blackhat traffic storm. in a nut shell u my your landing page look as close to the url that u want your pop up to show up on colors and fonts shit like that. and it helps to use a domain similar to the domain.
 
Honestly can't say what went wrong without knowing the keywords/URLs you targeted... that plays a bigger role than almost anything else.
 
hey her is the method u should follow

  1. Make 3 landers with laser targeted with, flash effects, sounds(if allow), timing clock, area specific, targeted site specific( eg. welcome to apple.com promotians)
  2. Use prosper202 or tracking 202 to track the conversions, rotate 3 landers and the direct link. Now you have to test al together 4.
  3. Get targeted 100 URLs and set daily budget to $10
  4. Stop URLs, if you lose the twice than the offer
  5. Find the winning URL and wining Lander
  6. If it is possible rotate network also. after spend $50 you will get the idea about the conversions

Before start a campaign spy on others.

most of the networks don't allow automatic sound or video and nothing comes more off like spam then chezzy flashy effects

that's true for the most part. I'd like to know how much research he did before and after picking the offer.

If you only made $2 out of $60 then you didn't act fast enough when finding good targets and deleting bad ones.

The right software to scrape the serps really can boost conversions. Be creative and don't just stick to CPA offers. Try free downloads through a custom incentive CPA gateway, ebooks, guides etc...

Also, Landing Pages are important if you want to make real cash in CPV. Your landing pages should be clean and to the point with a IN YOUR FACE headline and an extra large button and 3+ bullet points.
 
I am in the same boat as the OP.

I do not know what I am doing with ppv so far I have spent $600 on testing and only made $180.

Whenever I think I have a url that is profitable for the campaign it does not stay that way.

I would like to say thank you for the search footprint to hurn.

I just started using free ipad inurl:t202id+t202kw and it is working amazing.

A landing page with a good lead capture system is definitely the way to go. You also want to make sure that you have good ad copy. Sending your prospects to a simple sales page will always have low conversion ratios.
 
Well its been 6 months since I tried this, and I gave up after this first campaign. I have a lot of money to test with and this time I really want to make it work. So yeah I am going to be trying out as many different methods as possible with PPV, and maybe PPC.

I will post here with what I find works the best, and if I find something really good I will make a new thread about it with detailed instructions :)
