that's like working twice as hard for half the money. No one is going to go back and work again to delete links.
If you can keep your rankings without ongoing SEO, you either overdid it early on or are in a low competition niche.You know the "drop in rankings" if you stop paying for SEO isn't always true man. It is sometimes, but it is also a line to keep you paying for the service. I have some websites I haven't done SEO for in like 6 months and at worst they have dropped like 1-2 positions but they usually fluxuate back up. You probably will need to continually do SEO but once your site authority is high from paying out that 10k, you can lower your monthly budget and just keep a gradual stream of links coming in.
Just make sure the links you are getting are not "rented" links. Ask them if the links are permanent.
